“Joined our friends on Saturday night for dinner and music bingo. The food is delicious! My husband and I had the Bangers and Mash with onion gravy. It was absolutely amazing. Our server was excellent and we had a blast playing music bingo. The DJ is a hoot! Best night we had out in a long time!”

Just a little puzzled as to why they don't offer sweet and sour shrimp, however.

“Subway is a HUGE pregnancy craving but pregnant women aren’t supposed to eat (unheard) deli meat. I went in and asked the girls working if I could possibly get my meat on the side - a question that has often resulted in rude comments or a simple “no” - and, much to my surprise, they said yes!! They were so kind and told me they have to keep certain company standards (counting the meat to make sure I don’t more than I am paying for) but they are happy to help. Ever since then, I LOVE going in and visiting with my girls. So friendly and sweet and it makes me want to go to Subway even more than I already do 💚”

I really liked this one! We also got the hot honey avacado toast. It could have used a little seasoning and more hot honey. But none the less it was good! The lucky penny is a cute little coffee shop restaurant. They sell local beef and there is a cute mercantile store attached.”

“My husband and I finally stopped in. I've been wanting to since they opened and we happened to be on this side of town today. The service was lovely and the food was wonderful! We ordered a beef & a chicken pastelillo, #1 & #8. Would definitely recommend & will be returning :)”

“We've had donuts for our parishioners from various stores in the area on Sundays for years and none can compare to Expresso. Donuts are freshly made every day, delicious & of a generous size and the owners and staff are excellent to work with. So glad they are in Elyria!”

“The food is delicious. Unfortunately, there is only one server. She is great and works so hard. She moves from one table to another without getting a rest. We often wait longer because this great server also handles pick-up orders, so it takes more time for our food to arrive, or our order to be taken. We keep going back because it is a lovely, clean, cozy restaurant with delicious food choices, that always arrives hot when it reaches us. And, a server who goes out of her way to make sure every customer has been taken care of and is happy with their meal.
I only gave 4 stars when it came to service. Not because our server wasn't giving us excellent service, but because one person cannot do everything without a break.”

“My husband and I love Check Please! We have gone multiple times. The food is tasty, the staff is friendly, and it always feels clean! We love being able to draw on the table and getting the seasonal coffee brews. Today we were served by Amy and she made sure we had a very lovely time!”

“Our first visit to Wolfe's and we were quite impressed. Seated at a window table in the bar, very comfortable. Greeted by Eileen who was super nice. Went over the menu with us, took our drink order. Ordered a pepperoni & sausage calzone to start. DELICIOUS!!! Dave had a steak salad and I had grilled cheese sandwich with chips. We finished the afternoon off by ordering 2 specialty pizzas to go. I can't stress enough the excellent service Eileen gave us. We will definitely be back and ask for a table with Eileen. Thank you, Eileen! Carol and Dave”

“Stopped by the restaurant on the way to Lorain Ohio. The service , food , and the attentiveness of the waitress was amazing! I’ve never experienced this in any restaurant ! The owner , Aunt B was the sweetest, most welcoming person ! I hope I travel through this town called Spencer Ohio , because I would definitely go back ! Thank you Aint B , you’re amazing ! The dessert was superb !!”

“There was 7 of us total including 2 kids that came in for dinner. It was busy and we only waited about 5 minutes for a table. The waitress was wonderful and attentive, food was good. My daughter ordered the pancakes and I am not a big pancake person but they tasted so good! We love blue sky and will be back for sure!”

“Yummy! Me and my hubby stopped in after our appointments today. Had a delicious breakfast. I got corned beef hash, sunny side up egg and he got chopped steak and eggs and we split some pancakes 🥞. Everything was cooked to perfection, flavorful and great price. Waitress was a sweetheart too! This is the type of place we both grew up eating at with our grandparents. Hope to bring our kids with us in the future one day. Happy customers!”

“I grew up with Lu’s pizza, and lasagna, and meatballs and salad 🥰. Always good. Last Sunday I grabbed a pizza after work and can tell you it was THE BEST pepperoni pizza I have ever had! Who ever made that pizza is a rock star 🫶🫶🫶”

“We drove from Sandusky, Ohio to have breakfast here. We travel all over for breakfast. price was ok, online says cheaper than what it is when you get there. it is $1.50 extra for the sausage patties. my son loves biscuits and gravy, he tried to take a bite and it had no flavor. my bacon was so over cooked it crumbled. the home fries where hot, but tasted like bland boiled potatoes. and there was something in my food I had no idea what it is. waitress noticed we didn't eat anything except the toast and my husband drank his coffee. the waitress was ok, she did adjust my bill. I ended up paying $25 for 2 pieces of toast and a cup of coffee.”
