The best place to stay while in the area. This was our second time staying at the Red Fern. We stayed in the Kelly's Island room, which was appropriate since we were headed to Kelly's Island the next day. The room was immaculately clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are decorated nicely with a nautical theme. The Inn was an elementary school, and they did a great job of converting it into an inn. It's very roomy and has everything you need...
3rd time staying here. Rooms are lovely, include a seating area as well as small kitchen. Even though on a fairly busy road and the winery downstairs the rooms are quiet.Be sure and take a few minutes to walk up to the crows nest . . . great views of the lake and islands.Walkability: Easy walk to Marblehead Lighthouse and Life Saving Station as well as downtown area and Kelleys Island Ferry
Wonderful accommodations at a lovely inn. My husband and I frequently stay at Inns when we travel and loved our stay at the Red Fern Inn’s Bay Point Room. Great view of the lake, clean and comfortable!
