I was there on the 8th with family. We ordered Burritos Deluxe and California Burrito. I asked for two chicken because I don't eat beef. It came with beef and chicken. We never received refills on our drinks. My niece ordered food and didn't get her order until she had to ask if they forgot her order. They charge you for using a card but we were not told until he added the surcharge.
I highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a good Hispanic food. I got the Hawaiian fajita. And it was absolutely delicious. Their chips and queso is also amazing as well.
Excellent service by our waiter Joel ! Great Happy Hour specials and the best margaritas! Our food was delicious , hot and fresh ! Restaurant was very clean and nice atmosphere! Cannot wait to go back - one of the best Mexican restaurants we have been too !

Based on recent reviews, La Playa | Cocina & Cantina • Indian Lake is a nice place offering good Hispanic food. The food is excellent, with dishes like the Hawaiian fajita, seafood fajitas, shrimp fajitas, fajitas in the half pineapple, wet burrito, and Pollo con queso being very good or delicious. Their chips and queso are amazing, and the tortillas are exceptionally good with a fresh, grilled taste. The service is very good and outstanding, with attentive wait staff. However, the atmosphere is bar-like and loud with happy, loud drinking partiers. There is about a $2.00 charge for using a credit card.
