I’ve had Baba Chef twice this week and may be becoming addicted. The chicken shawarma wrap is definitely my favorite. Plenty of convenient parking around the food truck, it’s also within walking distance of The Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood. An awesome alternative to fast food for family dinner or a quick healthy meal before a show, he has something for everyone. 10/10 highly recommend!

Aside from that, the food was good, seasonings were good, to be middle eastern I feel like it lacked vegetables. The portions could have been better too.

Baba Chef serves most delicious halal food around! Every bite is packed with flavor — the fish and meat is always tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and the sauces are simply amazing. You can really taste the freshness and quality in everything they serve. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The food is prepared with great care, and it’s clear that cleanliness and quality matter here.

It was a great chicken shawarma! I haven’t remembered I eat really good shawarma last 2 years! Also, my toddler usually doesn’t eat everything new for him, but he tried and said “it’s yummy!” I definitely will come again and try other food there!

Good food, good service, will eat here again! Tried the Fatoosh salad + chicken shawarma, a lamb gyro, and enjoyed some chicken sambuseh. Loved the garlic sauce w/the salad & the tahini sauce had good flavor. Keep up the great work!
