The monkey bread is a favorite treat around here, though I prefer the cinnamon buns and the sourdough. The peasant loaf is a terrific stew supplement, and there's no better sandwich than one with the butter top or sourdough. One of my favorite places when making a special dinner.

We were so touched by the kindness of Bread Smith today! They dropped off an amazing spread of cookies and cinnamon rolls for our team at the urgent care, and it truly brightened our day. The Austrian pumpernickel is a bit different from the pumpernickel I know (less dense, less dark). Still, its light caraway flavor and cracked wheat & rye make it a great foundation for solid sandwich.
