Ordered a cake for my brother birthday. They were able to take my order with only 4 days in advance! It was delicious and moist. Chocolate cake with Oreo frosting! Everything was great :)

Bakeries like Elmwood Home Bakery should be cherished. I was able to grab some freshly baked goods for my office at 7 am and bring a bit of home baked to my team who all appreciated the sweet treat. Thank you Elmwood!

First time visit! Right away when I said I’d like 4-6 pastries (So the clerk would know how big my box should be) both girls behind counter said: we don’t have any danish! So I said I didn’t ask for danish, I just need 6 pastries, ok, but we’re out of danish since that’s what we sell…really? Was I speaking a different language? Both continued to be rude as they were packing my “pastries” in my box and as I left I told them: bad customer service for a first time visitor and that I didn’t even feel welcome! Granted it was 20 minutes before closing time but shouldn’t you be welcoming until 3 pm? Needless to say that I’d NEVER recommend this place to my friends or neighbors nor will I EVER return and I’m sure they could care less!

Went to support local and it was disappointing. Ordered three items a little before noon, all three were dry and stale. There were two workers one was very polite and helpful, the other was talking with another customer about her political views and made the environment feel uncomfortable. Food can be inconsistent when local, but politeness and professionalism should never be.

The Pepperoni pretzel is really good, it's like garlic bread, and herbs and Pepperoni and it's delicious. The sugar cookies are also excellent, a good Halloween themed treat. And the chocolate cake slices are super good! With the frosting is good, and the cake is flavorful. It is economical and great customer service. I will be coming back next week!

I bought this adorable birthday cake and these delicious cupcakes for a birthday party. I added the candles but the rest was from Elmwood bakery. I really love coming here for anything baked. The quality is excellent. And I just really appreciate the people that own this place and work here.

Thank you Elmwood Bakery for bringing our family a piece of Easter tradition with this beautiful daffodil cake. It was the same light sponge cake with lemon frosting that I remember from my childhood. There are not many bakeries left that still make the daffodil cake so I was very excited when I called Elmwood Bakery and learned that they had this delicious Easter treat. Elmwood Bakery has been around since 1944 and the high quality of their products is the reason why. Highly recommend Elmwood Bakery in Lakewood OH
