Not a review of the bar but rather the owner so that patrons can make sure they are supporting local businesses that align with their values! I was on Twitter this morning looking for tickets to The Eras Tour tonight and an account offered me two tickets at face value. They seemed legit, sent me screenshots, and seemed to have a reasonable explanation for why they were selling them. The account gave me the venmo account of the owner of this bar, Paul Kriaris, and told me to send the money to this account as it belongs to her boyfriend. After sending the money, the account told me she was in the process of sending the tickets but it was taking awhile. They also continued to post tweets trying to sell the tickets, at which point I figured out I was being scammed. I asked for a refund but the account continued to assure me that the tickets were on their way. I then brought up contacting Paul’s family and friends and leaving a review for the bar. At this point the account started begging me not to take it that far but continued to refuse my refund. I am still out 300 dollars and Paul or Paul’s “girlfriend” is continuing to dodge my requests, so I just wanted to warn any future patrons of Kenilworth!

I used to adore my Sundays at Kenilworth. The ambiance was inviting, the drinks were always excellent, and the staff made you feel right at home. Unfortunately, that all changed with the arrival of the new bartender on Sundays. Initially, I chalked it up to an off day, but it’s become clear that this isn’t just a temporary issue. The service has slowed down significantly, and the bartender comes across as uninterested and unfriendly. It’s really disappointing to witness a place I loved losing its welcoming atmosphere. I miss the good old days of enjoying a drink and engaging with the staff. I genuinely hope management considers either bringing back the previous bartender or providing some training for the new one. Until then, I’ll have to search for a new spot to enjoy my Sundays.
They have Sunny D, that and a shot of vodka, double D. Cheap, close, and the breaded/deep fried ravioli is great. The Sweet Chili sauce comes out of a bottle, so do half of mine. Cheap, neighborhood bar. God I love Lakewood.

It was my first time here & I loved the expression. The wings were delicious & the celery was fresh. The popcorn was a perfect appetizer.
The pool table & darts kept me there longer than planned and made me purchase more drinks.
Recommend adding the flavor sugar-free Red bulls.
