Totally disappointed in the change! Melt WAS the reason to make a trip to Cleveland. Melt was always such a gem. This was always the planned eating spot when coming to town. DEFINITELY not any more. Ruined a GREAT thing.
Went to the one in Cleveland (which i have been looking forward to going for years) and I was already disappointed that they got rid of their original menu. I still wanted to try it so we ordered and the bread on mine and my friends sandwich was burnt, mac n cheese was cold and the server didn't come back for 45 mins before asking us what drinks we wanted.
For starters I am very sad that all of the delicious sandwiches this place is known for were removed from the menu but I still wanted to give it a chance. I ordered the Wake n Bacon sandwich as did my friend. His eggs came fully cooked fried over hard and mine were over easy. I asked if I could please have new eggs over hard like his because the menu did not specify and I have a sensitivity to runny yolks.
