Wow! We've always loved Rood, but this menu was special! The snapper & wagyu steak were both memorable meals, followed by Sean's recommendation of the lime-hibiscus pie...a summer delight. Delicious!

Incredible meal from beginning to end, can't say enough good things. It was our second time dining at Rood and we will definitely be back. The octopus is an all time favorite and worth the trip alone, also enjoyed the mussels, I got the coffee rubbed filet and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had, finished with the chocolate pb banana gf pie - delicious!! Highly recommend to everyone I know and so many wonderful gluten free items which I greatly appreciate.

I have not enjoyed an experience as much as the one at Rood in many years. The star of the show was Shawn. He was our master of ceremony the entire evening. His recommendations and presence was everything. Second the meal...all three of us couldn't recall ever having food as flavorful and tasty. The pie...well, we got one of each piece so I can confirm all were beyond delicious. The space was inviting and comforting and allowed us to have the most amazing night. I highly recommend you run to get your reservation. Oh and I couldn't forget mentioning that we had an accommodation request for a table for a wheelchair and not only did they do that, the space already had a chair removed making the guest feel very welcome.

Diverse and interesting menu. The food we ordered (salad, pork chop and meat loaf) was flavorful, interesting and well prepared. Portion size is perfect. Friendly and good service; took a little longer than expected to get the food out of the kitchen, but it was work the wait. The prices are very fair; I would even say value priced. This visit was our third time at Rood, so we obviously like it. Will be back.

Such a great place! Food was fantastic - from the bread plate to the wild boar gnocchi to the delicious pie. The service was excellent. I will definitely back. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience overall. The menu lacked appeal, and the food did not meet expectations. We waited over an hour for our meals, which was frustrating. When the food finally arrived: The steak was overcooked and lacked flavor. The carbonara was served cold. The chicken dumplings were overcooked and tough. Service was also underwhelming, with little attentiveness or communication during the long wait. Would not recommend based on this visit.

First time there. As they noted, parking is an issue. Not much they can do about that. Service was good. Although our server seemed to be taking care of the majority of the front room, there were two runners and a host who made sure there were no gaps in service. A carafe of water on the table would have been nice. Entrees were good. Peach pie was just ‘ok'. Wasn't very peachy. Biggest compliant was a ‘Dine in Service Charge' added to the bill that we weren't aware of and it was not explained anywhere. A surcharge for using a credit card is understood and, usually, noted somewhere. Perhaps it was mentioned on the menu, but I don't think so. 3% is no big deal, but an explanation of why it was charged would have been appreciated. Overall, a good experience.

Fantastic food and service. Met up with a friend for late Sunday brunch and we were both able to catch up and enjoy some great food!

Our server (I can't recall his name, around 5pm on Friday 7/11) was outstanding and very knowledgeable about the menu. We loved happy hour and will return!

Our sever is as great...attentive (not overbearing) and knowledgeable about all the items on the menu. Our table ordered the meatloaf, the wild boar gnocchi, the chicken + dumplings and the duck breast. We also had the mussels and the lamb meatball appetizers. Everything was amazing except for the duck breast. It was very bland compared to the other dishes. We also had the lemon raspberry pie for dessert...A taste to dream about it was soooo good! Highly recommend this restaurant.

We love Rood for dinner but didn't care for the brunch menu. The food was prepared well but just not what we were expecting. One person in our party had the Mortedella cutlet with fried egg. It was a thick slab of meat with egg on top and just not appetizing. The Asian omelette was good and the most typical breakfast item on the menu. Service was excellent, as always.

Food was so interesting-so many different flavors in each dish! Staff was warm and friendly. Love the camper bar-so kitsch! Recommend and definitely will return!
