Held my Norse-Pagan wedding reception here, and holy $#!T, it was an amazing experience (really affordable too). Eugene catering is sooo good, and I highly recommend the pot roast. Rollo and Chef B were simply awesome, and made it to where we didn't have to worry about a thing. I can't say enough about the incredible service, food, atmosphere, and mead. Make sure to try the chicken tenders...my mouth is watering just thinking about them again. A perfect Viking mead hall. Skål!

One of our absolute favorites in Lakewood. The on-tap ale selection is excellent, the ciders and meads are exceptional - especially the meads. And there’s this really wonderful setup with a separate kitchen, Eugene’s, that has a small and amazingly good menu with awesome fries (crispy and pillowy like they always should be and rarely are) and as good a habañero sauce as you’ll find anywhere. First rate burger. A must stop.

I have never eaten there, so I can't report on that. The beer, cider and mead choices are phenomenal and with the flight options...you will definitely find something you will like. I have been to the Cleveland Hts location and this one many times and they are night and day when it comes to service. The Lakewood location has always made me feel a little rushed to order and move me along, when they weren't even busy. The last time I was there the bartender asked us to move down to the bar corner because other people were going to be there later. 1st of all, there was nobody even at the bar and a total of two other couples in the whole place. We did as she had asked, but nobody ever came after two flights of four drinks...a few hours. Last I checked...all bars are 1st come 1st served and without reservations you sit where you want. She also had a little attitude because she dropped a flight holder and gave a little attitude to us and another customer. We were on our way out and she was busy talking to the chef about coworkers and was going to ignore us if she didn't see my upset face and then said good bye as we were actually out the door. I had half a mind to contact the owner. All of the other times the other servers were at least nice as they pushed us along. If ya want good service...I suggest the Cleveland Hts location. The service is far better. The owner of this location should be ashamed for not checking his worker's attitude.

The food was incredible!!! Burgers, chickens, fries, and pretzel with all the dips - yum! Cucumber salad was a bit underwhelming. We ate indoors and it was uncomfortably warm. Will definitely be back - when it’s colder out. ?

The mac and cheese was WAY overpriced and absolutely DISGUSTING. No flavor at all and thicker than Elmer's glue. I'm not kidding either. I took maybe six or seven bites. I would rather have paid double for boxed Kraft than whatever this stuff was. I should have asked for a refund.

As seen by the responses of this bar's owners to previous bad reviews, they have a major attitude problem. Don't go here. They won't even give you a sample of a beer to taste. It's supposedly a "brewery". Every brewery I've ever been to, or even a dive bar, will give you a taste of a beer to sample to see if you like it. Not this place. Nasty Paki who works there is rude and knows nothing about beer, cider, or mead, or any inkling of customer service. Go next door to Woodstock; they're awesome. And WAY better food and staff.

Love this place! Their mead is next level. They have some fantastic beers and their patio is excellent.

Food is always delicious! Mead is great. Service from both bar staff and food service staff has always been excellent. It’s got a cozy vibe with bench seating, etc. Definitely a great place for drinks with one friend or a group alike.

Everyone behind the bar was incredibly rude and seemed annoyed to be there. The service was horrible and we felt like we were a bother to be taken care of. The sours and mead were also incredibly distasteful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone especially for the price. Not even close to worth it.

I was recently at the brewery as a wedding guest. The staff nailed everything from service to transitioning the furniture when we accepted being rained out. Their food was delicious and they even offered an option to donate leftovers. They had a very wide selection of drinks (no misses on the menu). Shoutout to Rello and the rest of the crew running the kitchen and bar. If you have an event to plan or cash burning a hole in your pocket, it might as well go to these folks! They're worth every blessing that comes their way.

Lamest “brewery” in Cleveland area. I’ve been there multiple times, they are constantly out of their beers. I got a chicken sandwich for $18 and it was all bread and two tiny little chicken tenders on it. Will definitely not be back. Plenty of nicer places near there that I’d rather go to.

Wanted to eat at Eugene's so grabbed a drink here. They don't do samples so I ordered a cider. It was purple, I can't remember the name but the flavor profile was violets & it was not good at all. Very disappointed. Would've loved to try a few meads but I've never had one before so didn't know where to start. The menu says they offer flight sizes but they don't list prices. Would've asked the bartender if she was even a tiny bit friendly. She was much more interested in her phone than offering drink suggestions or giving us any info on their brews. It honestly felt like we were bothering her so we just ordered as quickly as we could. Everyone at Eugene's was awesome tho.

Best chicken tenders of my life. The mac and cheese was also very very good and had a nice smokiness to it. I got the cider named "Berry" it was pretty good not anything special but definitely still worth going for the food alone.
