We had a great time. Food was great. The atmosphere was amazing. I bought 2 bottles of tequila that were smooth. Just a good vibe
Drove there on a Wednesday night for the highly promoted $.50 wings and bourbon night. Got there at 7pm only to hear the bartender tell us they ran out of wings a while ago! Classic bait and switch. Never going back. Too many other great restaurants in Lakewood that don't sell out of wings on wing night. Oh and the place was not busy whatsoever.
Great food and bourbon!
Poor costumer service. I had a reservation for three. When we arrived, we were told they only had seats at the bar. I asked him what the point of reservations were. Not only could he not give me an answer, he made no apology. We ended up going somewhere else. And, a shout out to Barroco. Amazing costumer service and great food!
Tried a flight, wasn’t impressed by any of the liquors.
I'm from Northeast Ohio and live roughly 25 miles away from WRD. Here's my confession... I'm kinda an experienced bourbon snob but have never visited WRD. I'm writing this very positive review because for awhile I've enjoyed WRD's bourbons (particularly their single barrel), as well as their tequilas. For me, WRD single barrel bourbon, sipped as neat is a pleasure; it carries a smooth / calm profile with just a touch of burn at the end. I'll stack it against any Kentucky bourbon with the same age profile. I also think that it being double distilled makes a difference in taste, and having it sourced with organic ingredients is a great plus. Can't wait to make a pilgrimage to WMD and hopefully get a chance to meet the owners.
Have good food and they have great spirits there too
Best cocktails in Lakewood
Our first opportunity to visit this distillery. Absolutely exceeded expectations. From our first interaction, the staff was welcoming and friendly. Great industrial decor. So many tasty menu options, it was hard to decide what to order. Our waiter/bartender, Bailey, pointed out several favorites. We started with cocktails and appetizers-sweet corn sesame hush puppies and sautéed garlic shrimp. Both were delicious. Then on to hot honey pepperoni pizza and the distillery burger. Again, perfect suggestions and well prepared. We finished our visit in the gift shop where we picked up several varieties of tequila. I did not get the name of the woman who assisted us, but again, friendly and helpful. She invited us to sign up for tastings and mixology classes.
Generous portions. Friendly, attentive service.
Very clean restroom! We will definitely be back.
The food, the drinks and Service was all top-tier!

Great place. Went here a few days ago, and I liked it a lot. The service was great, and the food was also great. Got to meet the GM of the restaurant, super cool and friendly guy. Stop by here sometimes if you have the time
Came her for dinner, drinks and distillery tour. Everything was really good. The tour was informative and we got to try some of their spirits to make informative purchases to add to our expanding bar at home.
The food was really tasty. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Excellent.
An amazing local business. Stellar food, world class spirits, and a rockstar staff to drive the experience home. If you haven't checked out Western Reserve Distillers, you're missing out.
Been here a couple times and it's always great. Wonderful drinks and stellar food.
