Great food, great rye.

I love the food and drinks at Western Reserve. Tonights food and drinks did not disappoint. My problem is that I had a 4 o'clock reservation for six. We ordered food and drinks and we were all having a great time, at 5:20 our server came up and advised us we had a two hour limit unless we wanted to order more food, at that point we were at least $300 in with our orders. What really bothered me was they told us we had a two hour limit but there was empty tables when we left. Still love the place but was disappointed, never heard of the two hour policy before.

waited 25 minutes for our reserved table for 8. Ridiculous!!!!! Don’t want a sampe bourbon!!! Want my reserved table on time. Wont be back!

Great service, food, drink.

Overall 3-4 stars. We had a small issue that was made worse by how it was handled. Our food was forgotten about and not ordered when we asked. 30-40 minutes went by and a portion of our food came out, but our appetizers that we ordered long before never came. People who ordered 20 minutes after us had received their food already. I told the server and she went to confirm when a bartender and instead of just apologizing about it, because accidents happen, we felt like they ignored us and avoided eye contact for the reminder of the time. I wanted more water and it took so long to get the attention of the bartenders in front of us, because the ignoring felt intentional. The food was good, the staff that we spoke to was very kind, but it sucked to be treated that way after an accident occurred. It seemed like someone was new and training, so hopefully in the future if/when another accident occurs, they just acknowledge it, vocalize the mistake and apologize. The lack of accountability made it worse. We’ve been here before, and we’ll go back because we enjoy the atmosphere, food and drinks.

Amazing food with fresh quality ingredients!! The burnt ends were smokey, sweet, and a bit salty (not over salty!). Orchette toscana was perfectly creamy, not drowning in sauce, and the sausage was just right to complete the dish....not too spicy. The distillery burger was juicy and very flavorful. And the drinks, so so good! Read the descriptions and try what sounds good...there is something for everyone. We will definitely be back!

We have not been to the physical location in Lakewood and this review is for their packaged tequila sold in liquor stores in Ohio. We picked up a bottle of Western Reserve Reposado Tequila in the clear glass orb design. Although it’s not the worst we have tried, it was a close second. Very harsh, whiskey flavored, paint thinner, astringent profile. Do NOT buy or drink. Foul and disgusting. Pretty bottle is usually a dead giveaway.

Well, I’m pretty disappointed. We were having a great time until the kitchen came back to inform us that ingredients cannot be removed from sandwiches in order to “streamline service in the kitchen..” My brother’s request for no mushrooms however was approved since he had an allergy. My request for no carmelized onions was denied because stomach discomfort apparently doesn’t make the cut. Removing onions would have clearly jeopardized the entire operation, so I was asked to choose a completely different sandwich instead. Just be aware: NO accommodations at this restaurant.

Great food and drinks. I really recommend their cocktail classes. They are informative and worth the cost.

Omg Met this guy at Acme in Hudson. Great guy. Awful vodka. Sorry. Not a big Dr jet but this vodka was not great. Sorry. 🙂

I was expecting a little more from their food, but it wasnt bad. I was just there to grab some bottles, but the food always looks so good in their marketing I wanted to try it. Well, I wasnt floored by it, but I'd probably give it another shot if im ever back that way. Their bourbon is worth the visit regardless...
