Was pretty disappointed this visit, I have been eating Thimmes fish sandwiches for over 40-years and when you know how they taste and then something changes it's really obvious. The fish sandwiches had no flavor at all. 2 sandwiches 1 french fry and 1 can of pop was $17.39 .. i would be ok with that if the fish sandwich tasted like it once did. Not sure what you have changed but you changed something. Also, you need to turn the heat up some as it was very cold in the restaurant,...

This place knows how to handle and cook seafood. Been to many places that give you overcooked and tough oysters and clams. Was also informed by the woman working as to where the oysters came from without even asking. Thimmes has a very crunchy batter and the oysters were pulled from the oil at just the right time to keep them tender. They absolutely know what they're doing when it comes to quality fried seafood.
