Came in at 7pm on a Monday and there was no wait and the dining room was maybe to 25% capacity which made for a quiet ambiance. The decor inside is very clean and classy. (No pictures of the food because it felt beneath the dignity of the vibe to whip my phone out and start taking pictures) Food was great! We had the caprese salad to start. The spinach was crisp and a little spicy, the olives were flavorful, the mozzarella and the avocado were firm. The pesto sauce they put on the tomatoes is awesome! Had the mushroom ravioli and the strip steak. The steak was great and cooked exactly as requested. The ravioli was also good. The sun dried tomatoes were good but there was a lot of them. The service was less than expected for the price point of the menu. Server did not know if they had a Cabernet (they do not) Also did not know what bourbons were available and we had to choose from what bottles we could see/recognize behind the bar from our table (They do have Woodford Reserve 😉) Asked for A1 sauce and it was brought to me in a little plastic cup with a lid on it like it came from the carry out stock (I don’t even know if they have carry out) Thought it was super weird for a $32 steak 🤷🏼‍♀️ Server came half way through eating and asked if we wanted any other drinks; when we said no she came back with our bill and told us there was no rush. Thought it was nice of her to allow us to finish eating before we paid 😏 We weren’t going to order dessert anyway (not that she asked 😏) but they had some REALLY tempting choices. May come back just for the desserts and lattes 🍮

The food was good. The problem was that we had a reservation set for 6:30, told to wait. Then people who came on after us were seated sooner, same number in the party. The real problem is that Mr. Healthy was telling the hostesses to seat people who came in after us, maybe cause he knew them.

The chicken parmigiano was very good and the Italian sausage sandwich was delicious as well. We will eat here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our chicken parm and hot honey lunch size pepperoni pizza. Each came with a large salad. The homemade 1000 island dressing was delicious, too! Our waitress and server were very attentive.

I kid you not when i say there cant be more than 3 oz of chicken in here . Not to mention for the price the quality is terrible 😂😂hire a new chef because this taste like a frozen meal. Chicken doesnt have salt or pepper on it , fake it till you make it establishment TYPICAL LIMA.

Food made both my girlfriend and I sick, tiramisu was frozen, and still had ice pieces in it. And it was $100 for two people after tip (1 app, 2 entrees, 2 deserts, no drinks ordered at all). Wouldn’t recommend at all and won’t be back there. I threw up after eating here.

This was our first time visiting Casa Lu Al. Very beautiful establishment, our server was great, food was OK. Since it was a Friday evening and there was an event at the Civic Center, which we were attending, We decided to call and make a reservation for 6 people for 4:30, was told by an employee that answered the phone, well you really shouldn't need one that early...really? THE WEBSITE INDICATES THAT YOU CAN MAKE A RESERVATION. So when we arrived to honor our reservation, even though it was early as they said, we still had to wait for them to prepare our table, while others were being seated. In my opinion, a restaurant with such high caliber should have been more prepared, especially that early to honor our reservation. In anticipation of having an enjoyable evening with friends and family we were highly disappointed with the customer service.

This has been the most hands down experience. My food was piping hot, just the way it should be. My waitress Chrissy was superb. She went above and beyond. So a friendly atmosphere and prices were just as great as the food and drinks. Thanks Chrissy!

Food was okay. My chicken parm was flavored okay but was just warm. Now this is a Thursday evening with maybe a third full restaurant. My wife said her chicken breast was warm but a bit dry also. My biggest complaint is they would not take a Good Food gift card that clearly said Casa lu Al on it as well as the other restaurants. Something about owner selling to his children. They were more than willing to take the money when the gift cards were bought. The cards were nice because you had a choice of restaurants. Now I'm not so sure if I want to spend all at the Beer Barrel, really kinda pissed about the whole thing. I'll use them but very disappointed in my limited choices now.
