“I've been getting chicken there since they opened. The Shell gas station underwent a renovation. They reopened with Krispy Krunch. I didn't want to write a review at first because the food - chicken is sooooo good - biscuits too - red beans etc, that I was worried they would then run out and I wouldn't be able to get any. It is that good. Call ahead to be sure because although the gas station is open 24 hours, Krispy Krunch closes at 8pm. Here's a pic of pricing si ce they don't have prices on their yo go menu. I didn't price sides. It was also really cool of them to work with me for what I wanted as seen in pics. I think sides are $2.49, unsure. The only food I haven't liked was their shrimp. But, the chicken is phenomenal. Better than KFC. It might be the best I've ever had.”

“First time this past Sunday trying this pizza place out I was really impressed. At first on arrival and looking at the building it seemed very sketchy. Not a place you think would sell pizza and have location there. But I do believe the quality of food this place has room to grow into a better building. Just hope it stays as close by me, cause Wellington does not have good pizza places at all. And Lorenzo’s in Oberlin have lost their touch. Their pizza has not been great the last several times we’ve had it. It’s been pretty much a box of grease.”

“We always wanted to check this place out and finally went there for our wedding anniversary. Very pleased with experience. The food was amazing, the chef and owner came to check on everything which was very delightful. Great seeing the entire family taking care of business. Two twin boys were hosting and doing outstanding job at the young age. Will plan on coming back! Only 3 stars for the service since we did not get our water glasses refilled the entire night, had to ask multiple times for that.”

“Stopped by the restaurant on the way to Lorain Ohio. The service , food , and the attentiveness of the waitress was amazing! I’ve never experienced this in any restaurant ! “My husband and I love Check Please! We have gone multiple times. The food is tasty, the staff is friendly, and it always feels clean! We love being able to draw on the table and getting the seasonal coffee brews. Today we were served by Amy and she made sure we had a very lovely time!”

“Joined our friends on Saturday night for dinner and music bingo. The food is delicious! My husband and I had the Bangers and Mash with onion gravy. It was absolutely amazing. Our server was excellent and we had a blast playing music bingo. The DJ is a hoot! Best night we had out in a long time!”

“Andy’s fire pizza gave me wild heart burn though it was amazing. I would’ve eaten more but it was leftovers and he kept insisting the kitchen was closed because it was two in the morning and supposedly the bar was also closed. It’s an awesome small local bar, I recommend.”

“I probably would inly go back for the food. If you enjoy a local country bar atmosphere this is for you. The food was great, I got a cheeseburger and I'd love to get one again.We had a struggle getting someone's attention to pay for our meals as we were leaving (but I think it was their peak busy hour). So overall decent place, just wasn't my husband and I's kind of hangout”

“We were very unsure at first! Because the building is weird looking!!!!!! But there's always a lot of cars. So we decided to try! There was no where to sit except for at the counter! It was extremely busy! Waitress got us drinks and took our order. We did wait probably 45 plus minutes for our food!!!!!!!!!! But when it arrived; I was beyond amazed! The pancake the bigger than the plate! And it was good!!!!! I ordered the country omelette and it was the best omelette I ever had!!!!!!!!!! Their food was amazing!!!!! I see why there's no seats and why it took so long for our food!!!!! We had breakfast but now we are willing to do another wait to taste their lunch menu!!!!!! If your not in a rush; I would definitely suggest eating here!”

All of my guests remarked that these were the best cookies they’ve had in a long time. Several even commented on how impressed they were with both the taste and appearance, noting that it’s rare to find a baker who excels in both. Mary truly nailed it, delivering cookies that were as delicious as they were beautiful.”

Just a little puzzled as to why they don't offer sweet and sour shrimp, however.
