“I visited HUNTER STREET SALOON on March 20, 2024 for the first time. I was interested in learning to Line Dance.. Becky Mathews was a great teacher , she was very patient and made sure all of the people understood the steps. We also ate dinner there, all of the food was great! We will be going back!”

“My wife and I came to Hocking Hills from North Central West Virginia for our anniversary.
Simply looked on Google for places to eat and landed on 58 West for dinner.

My wife ordered the ribeye, cooked medium, topped with the cowboy butter.
Fantastic!

I ordered an entree on special, the meatloaf risotto with shrimp and asparagus (I’m definitely butchering the exact name).
Hands down one was one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had in my life.
Chef/GM Alex was nice enough to take time and come shake my hand so I can say thank you.

“Stayed at the Rusty Lofts in downtown Logan for a little spring break trip and noticed on The Max's sign, as we passed by, that they had karaoke that night. I stopped in the place that afternoon to ask about it and Rob and Sherri(sp?) both were very helpful & accomodating. Went to The Max that evening with my two boys for dinner, and the food was amazing!! Sherri was our server and was so friendly and attentive the whole time we were there. All the other patrons in the place were so cool as well. After dinner the karaoke started and Cowboy the DJ was awesome!! If we ever make it back to Logan we will definitely be hitting up The Max again for sure...highly recommend this place!! -Rusty”

“I get food from here nearly every time I go to Logan to visit my Dad. It has become a nostalgic past time for us since I was a kid. We usually order their loaded Italian subs.
Always friendly with quality food at a great price.

“My friend & I stayed on New Year's Eve. We could see it was family friendly, by all of the activities set up for kids, etc. The lodge is beautiful and clean. We ate at the restaurant and was very impressed. Being that it was NYE, they provided live music although we were very disappointed and confused by the lack of food service available for the event. The restaurant closed at 8:30 and the snack bar at 10:00. We attempted to order out although staff offered no assistance with finding a local pizza place, etc. so we ended up buying chips before the snack bar closed. For breakfast, staff apologized for the long wait in the restaurant, saying they only had one person in the kitchen...on New Year's Day. With Hocking College having a culinary school, we were surprised by the lack of food service, especially during a holiday.”

Just few issuebs,

1, Downstairs rooms VERY, VERY cold, upstairs VERY warm complete opposite of each other.

2, No hot water, in the kitchen until the day we left to wash dishes. I warmed water via the microwave. Made it work!

3, In the living room, one ceiling fan was working the other was not on, lights worked, unable to reach it.

4, Remote for upstairs TV was found the morning we were leaving, behind the couch and missing pieces, Dish SAT remote not working.

5, TV downstairs is not able to be used, no remote.

6, Smoke Alarm sounding off when we arrived, we did change the battery, it did not help.”

“This was on my to do list when we visited Hocking Hills. Very crowded, but understandably why! The pastries 🥐 my goodness!!!! My niece and I loved our macaroons and I got my boyfriend a homemade oatmeal cream snack cake…my goodness!!!!! I had to get a Big Foot shirt as well :) glad we went!”

“We’ve gotten ice cream here a few times but tonight we all got yummy yummy milkshakes. It was pretty close to closing time and people kept walking in but both young ladies were so friendly and helpful to everyone while they worked! Definitely our favorite ice cream place.”

“If you love a golf course, you will love eating here. The view is fantastic. If you are a golfer, I hear the course is a good one.
Food is great. Well prepared and has a great taste concerning anything ordered . Depending on what you drink (I am a top shelf girl when it comes to my Long Islands), it's a little pricey, but well worth the money.
There was plenty of parking and easily accessed for the handicapped. And by the way, if you like eating outside, you can do that. However, with the Ohio weather, you may want a sweater or jacket.
I would advise "calling in advance for a reservation."

PS: I had to give service a 4 because servers were so busy and we did wait a tad.
But once they got to us, it was better. We usually go in a group and have been there several times.”

“This is just the cutest kids bookstore and treasures that I’ve ever been in. The icecream was delicious and the decor so cute. Then what a nice surprise to go outside where there is putt putt and the most adorable goats and baby deer that you can buy cones for to feed. We didn’t have cones because we didn’t know you could do that and they all came running to the fence.”

Place is very cute. We got pepperoni pizza and the cheese. Pepperoni was fantastic. Cheese was good but the pepperoni clinched it.
We did two flights (6 samples each). The wines were very underwhelming. Hints of potent vinegar in a few. We did enjoy two of them.
Server was polite and very attentive.

Major gripe is no wine descriptions on the menu. We had to google them one by one for a flavor profile. First time we have EVER encountered this.
Definitely need to adjust the menu to describe the wines you are trying to sell.”
