Bascule brewery has delicious food good service & a great atmosphere. Love this place!!😀
Very nice place! Very friendly! I got breakfast and it was great! Will definitely be back to try the beers on tap. Thank you!
Placed a to go order this evening, regret getting the food to go. The atmosphere was excellent! Service was super friendly on the phone, and in person. Walked in the door to my food being placed on the counter from the kitchen when I was told. Frodo traveled home perfectly. The Tipsy Burgers were Absolutely amazing. Will be back soon.
Good service. We got takeout and didn't care for our flatbreads.
Tipsy Burger is awesome. Great place and the Beer is outstanding!
We tried Bascule Brewery for the first time for early lunch and breakfast. I had the large breakfast with pancakes, delicious. My wife had a hamburger and she stated it was the best she ever had.
The waitress and staff were extremely pleasant and the atmosphere was great.
We will be coming back!
Awesome atmosphere, amazing people, good brew and super slutty food! It's not just a brewery it the only brewery!!!
Food was not great. Wings are tiny, fries were mushy. Tacos were bad and brussels undercooked. Enjoyed the beer selection tho and the service wasn't bad.
Bascule Brewery – Lorain, Ohio
Worst experience ever... just kidding!
Imagine walking into a place and being greeted with a huge smile, like they’ve been waiting all day just for you. Then, you sit down, take a bite of some ridiculously delicious food, and before you know it, the owner himself strolls over, introduces himself, and shares a bit of the brewery’s history—because they’re just that proud of what they do.
And let me tell you, they should be proud! I had the Tipsy Burger, the corned beef pierogies, and washed it all down with their peanut butter porter (which, by the way, was the perfect pairing). Every bite was incredible.
The staff? Absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere? Cozy, welcoming, and full of history—you can tell they’ve poured their heart and soul into this place. Honestly, hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time.
Huge thanks to Chris and the whole team! Keep doing what you’re doing, and I can’t wait to come back!

Bartender kristina was extremely rude to us, didn’t seem to want to serve us at all and seemed drunk.
A great atmosphere and delicious food! Staff was friendly and approachable.
This place is a hidden gem in Lorain. So help me if this place ever shuts down I’m gonna protest 🤣. Visited here for the first time tonight. The wait time is a little long, but it’s so worth it. The burgers are PHENOMENAL!!! The owner is back there cooking the food himself, that’s dedication! Everyone needs to go and support this local establishment. We will most definitely be back.
We went to the Bascule Brewery on Sunday, February 2, 2025. They have outstanding hamburgers. The spinach dip and chips were really good. Our waiters, Allie, was outstanding! All the food and drinks were good. So much better then the Shipyard Brewery. And you do not have to wait an hour and a half, and the food was great here. They have a microwave so they can heat up cold food, not like that other Brewery! We highly recommend the Bascule Brewery, and will definitely go back. They serve breakfast all day, and I want to try their Sausage and Gravy Biscuits! Great Job! Thank you, Kathy
Bartenders Mercedes and Ali were great! Owner Chris was cooking and the food was amazing! Nice crowd would definitely recommend!
