Best ice cream around EVER!!
Stopped in Louisville to pick a furniture piece and found this gem of a coffee house. Great latte and atmosphere. Beautiful Victorian building with little separate rooms and nooks with an upstairs too.
Love this place! The tiramisu latte around Valentines Day was amazing. My go to is the matcha latte. Just tried a breakfast sandwich and it was also very good.

Virgil's Coffee House & Creamery is a top tier gem in Louisville. The atmosphere is amazing, set in a beautiful Victorian building with little separate rooms and nooks and an upstairs too. The owners put thoughtful care into the restoration of the Julliard house. The coffee is always delicious and the food is always made fresh. The menu includes anything you’d want in the family of cafe items. Favorite lattes include chai, tiramisu, matcha almond, hazelnut, and pistachio flavors. The affogato is great, and the iced peanut butter cup mocha and iced Irish cream latte are fantastic. The ice cream is all home made. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very clean and the soap smelled nice. The whole atmosphere is lovely. It’s a perfect spot to work out of. Definitely recommend.
