Went here for lunch. Couldn’t eat any of the food. Chicken tasted like tuna and salad tasted like dirt. Risotto tasted gross and spring rolls smelled like a wet dog. Only thing we could enjoy was the bread and diet pop

We were seated promptly and had our order taken promptly. Our server was friendly but after we were served she seemed to disappear. It seemed she was the only server for the entire room. I wanted another of their wonderful warm rolls and had to flag down a bus person to ask for one. It arrived at the end of the meal and I ended up taking it home with the leftovers. Aside from that, the room was beautiful and the food was attractively presented and tasty. We had the Vietnamese salad and a half portion was quite generous. My steak was a little more than the medium that I requested but still good. The cheese cake was smooth, dense and tasty. As you can see, an amazing presentation. The prices were reasonable as well. In summary, not perfect, but a worthwhile experience. I'd come back again

Excellent service. Tyler was really nice. I was thirsty and went to Starbucks to get a glass of water and they denied unless u order some unhealthy fatty sugary shakes or something. I was shocked.

I was reluctant to ask for a water from a restaurant but Tyler was nice enough to give me glass of water to carry on and once I came food dinner food and service was excellent.

I would love to have more vegetarian options but I had a healthy vegetable 🍆 dish.

Thank you Tyler and Thank you Wild Mango. 🙏🙏

Each dishes had a unique flavor and a kick. Food was good. But my dish was chipped here and there. The employee didn’t seem to care much when I brought it to his attention.

Service was ok…
And I saw the employee pre-served water on reserved table. Then when it was cancelled, she poured back those water and left the cups for reuse on next guests. What else are they re-using?

Just had the worst check out experience here. Asked for the check, waitress came back and said their systems are down. She said I can take your card number and phone number then run it when our systems are up and send you the copy of the receipt. So we said we’re not comfortable with that we can pay with cash. Then she said I can’t accept that either I don’t have a way to get your total. So I said can’t you just add it up and add tax? She said no I physically can’t do that. I said it’s just adding. She goes I know how to add I just don’t have the time. So I said well I’m not comfortable leaving my card number and she said ok then wait for the system to come back up. She left and came back and said yeah our systems our down there’s nothing I can do. I said well can you give us a menu and we’ll add it and leave you the cash because I’m not leaving my card number. She brought us a menu. We did the math and left the cash. Asked if she wanted to confirm it she said no I trust you, I just physically can’t do it myself. Not once did she apologize for the inconvenience or being rude.

Almost everything has MSG in it. Learn how to cook people.

The place looks nice, but the waitress was so rude that we got up and left! So can’t rate the food…

So I went with some friends on a Saturday around 3pm when we arrived at the time only two of us walked in the host (red hair) sat down as if she didn't see us then after a awkward stare she said can I help you after me asking if we needed a reservation or can we just sit she said no you can sit as if she didn't want to sit us then speed it up the lady pouring the water( heavy set Chinese look) poured the water out of the pitcher too the cup then back to pitcher then back to the cup I was floored we told our waiter and she brought out better water now moving forward the same lady pouring our water took forever with the bread as she was making her way to us she walked out the door to hostesses area held a conversation over the food walked away then came back it was too much going on then acted as if she didn't want us to get more then one piece but at this point I don't even want it after all that my friend ask for a manger and the guy (white young guy)tells her noone was there he said why what's the problem she tells him about the service from walking threw the door he replys with you can leave so at this point it wasn't nothin but drinks and bread sitting at that table we left immediately never again

My wife and I and two other couples went for a birthday dinner. My one friend got the sirloin and it was so tough and chewy he had to send it back. He then ordered the stuffed chicken which came after we were all done with our meals. Three of us got the stuffed chicken. Let me describe this dinner. It was like eating a salt lick. The chicken was a pressed piece of chicken that was like eating rubber. Two of the folks didn’t finish their meal. It was absolutely terrible to spend $26 for an entree that seemed like it was premade and heated up. A wedge salad that was not a wedge. It was cut up iceberg on a plate. I can’t even tell you how disappointed we were with the meal. This is my second or third time there and I will never go back.

Unusual menu items. The food was excellent and portions large -- if looking for a smaller meal, split an entree. Good atmosphere and quiet. A good place to have a leisurely dining experience.

Not sure if Chef Jia Wei still oversees this particular restaurant as I've been out of town for over a year, but I've been going to Wild Mango back since it was first known as "Weia Teia" as a kid in middle school with my family back at its original North Olmstead location.

I've visited countless times over the years through various menu offering changes and had everything on the menu as a result and through location changes as well.

I even used to study at the restaurant after ordering rounds of food through the afternoon and evening during slower days back in college years and celebrated many special moments as I moved into adulthood.

I was supremely happy to hear that Chef Jia Wei had expanded his operations to Beachwood and Crocker Park and watched as more people came to appreciate the fantastic food and atmosphere along with beautiful calming music, luxurious architecture and furniture that Chef paid close details to expand the guest experience.

For example, no other restaurant at the time had chairs that had built in extensions where pull out the extra wood plank and you can place your purse next to you.

In addition, there is no specific attire requirement for this place although some may have differing opinions about this. Also, this is one of the few restaurants that is open almost every day of the year!

Anyway, Chef Jia Wei is a fantastic chef who brought to NEOH the much needed art of delicious enjoyment and upgrade to food presentation and guest experience in the Cleveland area food scene and service that would be unparalleled for decades.

Not sure if anyone else noticed but through the years he has managed to keep the overall experience of the menu close to the original design enough without raising prices extremely while other restaurants either went out of business, replaced many items to the detriment of the regular customers' palate, or down sized their portions significantly.

As a long time customer, I was afraid after seeing rounds of local restaurant closures since the Pandemic that this beloved establishment might have been affected upon my return to the area recently.

Nope! Wild Mango is still going strong after all these years and is still a crown jewel in the food scene!

This time, I ordered my favorite when dining solo, which were the Fried Calamari, the Sautéed Sea Scallops, and Crème Brûlée. There's something incredibly comforting seeing the food that I was familiar with and taste that brought nostalgic memories. Glad to be back in Ohio.

I honestly love everything about this restaurant (mostly since it aligns extremely well with my tastebuds) as you could probably tell but this is one of the FEW places that you can actually enjoy being IN the restaurant, enjoy the food, and take a break from the day.

I do miss the really fun experimental soups or amuse-bouche that we used to have in the earlier era of Wild Mango but the Cleveland food scene didn't appreciate that enough for it to continue (not to mention the insane inflation over the years on food and labor costs for procuring various food items).

I'm just very happy to know that this restaurant is still doing well and that many people on the CLE East side is frequenting it. Thank you always to the staff for treating people with warmth and respect - top notch service always.
