“Googled local breweries on a free Saturday 4-19 and came upon Common Beer. Took a shot in the dark but as soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a friendly Hello. The bartender was very busy but she was still so sweet and took care of everyone with such grace! My boyfriend asked the bartender to pick a flight after he told him what he likes and it did not disappoint. You can tell this is a local regular spot for so many which makes it even more inviting. We loved it so much and will be back.“

“Best espresso ice cream that I’ve ever had! My husband and I drove from Lebanon today to try the ice cream and it was absolutely delicious 😋 The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We ran into a very nice young man who worked there who was emptying the trash and took ours for us with a huge smile and a “have a wonderful day!” Outdoor games that are free and trees for the kids to climb and scenic views of the golf course. “Tonight was mine and my husband’s first time at Wildflower Cafe. I’ve been wanting to try it out for years! I have to eat gluten free and love to find great local places with unique, fresh GF options. We had reservations and were seated on the main floor near a window, but we were right next to another table of 3. It felt a little snug and not as private as I’d have liked but I don’t fault the restaurant, it was a Friday evening and busy. For starters the smoked fish dip with Gf toasted Focaccia bread was yummy. For main entree my husband got the burger on a pretzel bun (not GF but could be ordered GF if need be, served on focaccia) He said the burger was delicious! After seeing it I wish I had ordered it. It looked amazing! Now for my meal, I ordered the current seafood offering which was a soft shell crab in a cornmeal batter, on seasoned southern greens. First let me say, I love crab but I had never had soft shell crab. They had an option for one or two crabs, (2nd with an additional charge) I opted for the single portion. The seasoning was good on this dish, however I regretted not getting something else. The portion was small, not a lot of meat on the single crab, and overall it just wasn’t a fully satisfying meal. I found out soft shell crab wasn’t my favorite. I probably should have ordered something more filling like the mushroom ravioli or lemon chicken and pasta. Both of those looked delicious. I just didn’t feel the crab was filling enough, maybe it needed some type of potato with it. Not sure. I would say it was an “okay” choice. Next time I’ll order one of the other options. For dessert we split the peach cinnamon bread pudding (GF) and it was delicious. Highly recommend! Our waiter was kind, but seemed busy. It was a Friday, so I give grace. Would have liked my water refilled a little more frequently. I would definitely like to come back and try some other dishes. This is a great spot!“

“We had a wonderful afternoon tea at Clarity House! The historic home turned tea room created such a cozy and unique atmosphere, and we really enjoyed having live piano music playing during our tea.

The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. The tea selection was great, and I like that the menu changes with the season. It will make it easy to come back. I decided to step outside my usual traditional choices. I tried the Cinnamon Plum and Blueberry Rooibos, and both changed quite a bit as they cooled, which made them fun to experience. I also loved that they offered real heavy cream, something I hadn't experienced at any of the other tea rooms we've visited. It really added another layer to the tea!

“I’ve been here 3 or 4 times now and the vibes are always good. I highly recommend going with a group of 4+ and bringing board games and card games with you. They sometimes have live music and trivia nights. Great spot for watching sporting events or just to hang out with friends.“

We witnessed some of the worse customer service and staff being rude to a group of elderly women. The drinks were excellent but it wasn’t until another member of the staff came in around 3p and the other 2 left sorry we didn’t get her name, when the mood shifted. “Thank you to Pamala and her staff at Valley Vineyards. We had the best experience there. We selected them for a pre-wedding welcome party. They were extremely flexible as I had let them know my original estimate of 100 people had grown to 200 people. In addition to the 150 person indoor room, they had plenty of spill-over room outside for people to gather. The staff were so professional. The food was fantastic and there was plenty for our crowd. The servers were prompt with everything. I didn't have to worry about anything the entire night. Everyone was raving about the evening. Thanks for making our gathering perfect.“
