The food here was subpar at best. I had the ribeye and ordered it medium. It was served medium rare, maybe less, but I ate it and didn’t complain. It came with “cheddar whipped mashed potatoes” and they were not whipped at all. They also were not cheddar. They were bland and unsalted mashed potatoes. Hard pass! My wife ordered the braised short rib and it was cooked fairly well but had no seasoning. I don’t want to forget the appetizer that was recommended by the waitress, “a crowd favorite,” the Armenian cheese bread. It was just okay. It lacked seasoning and I honestly couldn’t tell if it was cheesy or it was raw bread dough. Overall, this was an overpriced restaurant that, overall, serves unseasoned food. They did take the short rib off the bill because it wasn’t eaten, but if you are reading this….pass on this place and go somewhere else. It is way overpriced. DLX is much better food for less than half the price and is still an upscale, classy establishment. This was my first and last time eating at Hudson and Essex.

My husband ordered the Salmon with 2 coconut shrimp which was all over cooked but tasted ok (he eats salmon allot) I had the "small plate" crab cake in which the waitress did warn me it was SMALL and she was right, not sure if you could even call that a "cake" more like 3 spoons full but the taste was right on and yummy but too small for the $$ This place is nice, people are great just a lil too pricey and yes we ate here once before during brunch (which was better) The eggs Benedict was good and my son loved his pork belly Fry's.

Great experience as always. Arrived early and conversed with the owners (they are always there to greet everyone) The red curry salmon was delicious but will be curious about the changes in the seasonal menu in a few weeks

Beautiful restaurant. Meals were not up to par . My filet was way overdone for medium and quite dry. Spicy shrimp was so hot it was hardly edible. No one asked how our meal was, so we ate what we had. Server was nice but seemed so busy he didn't have time to check back with us. We usually have an excellent meal - tonight we were not impressed.

The service and food were incredible!! Reed, our waiter, took time to explain about how it became a restaurant, and the history of the building and the caverns. The food was delicious and the Brussels sprouts are a MUST when you go here. Even the owners came by and greeted us. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Our dinners were excellent. The Hungarian Mushroom soup was really good. The Japanese Fried chicken, a small plate, was absolutely delicious. The short rib entree was also delicious. Our server was also excellent very attentive and friendly. Great place for a special dinner, a business dinner, or just an everyday dinner. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful restaurant with great service and food. Also has a roof top bar and caverns underground with wine barrels where they make their own wines, and a dining area as well. Spent hours in the main restaurant for a perfect experience for an engagement dinner. Thank you all!

Although we haven't yet eaten at Hudson & Essex, my husband and I experienced wonderful customer service from Sean, the manager. We stopped in Sunday on our way home from Canton to Cbus and even though serving hours were over, Sean gave us a personal tour of the restaurant, winery and caverns. It was absolutely beautiful and he knew everything about the history of the space. It completely made my husband's day! We'll definitely make a trip to Mansfield for a meal after receiving such a warm welcome just for stopping by!

This place is one of a kind. It used to be a car dealership back in the 20s. Fast forward a wonderful restaurant for a celebration, business dinner, or casual date night. They have their own winery and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste. Below the building there are caverns built in the 1800s to store lager beer. This is a ‘must stop’.

We went there for my husband's birthday. He had the ribeye and I had the sundried tomato pasta with Scallops. The Armenian bread appetizer was amazing. All food was excellent. I chose the Petite Sirah red wine, very nice. My husband had their Walnut Old Fashioned. The whole evening was very enjoyable and well worth a night out.
