“For my 1400th review, I am going to write about my families experience at The Anchor. Ever since my family started to explore Celina's shops and restaurants about a year ago, The Anchor has been on my list of places to try. I am very glad we finally got around to it, as the entire experience was stupendous! We came one Friday night after work and parked next to The Anchor. We walked into this intimate and cozy pub and were immediately seated. The server gave us sometime to peruse the drink and food menus as we never had been to the pub. My brother got a beer, my mother and I both ordered some mixed drinks. My mother ordered the Tiki Torch, which is a mix of Bacardi Silver Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, and grenadine. She absolutely loved it! I also tried some and found if quite refreshing. I ordered the Sailboat Sour, which is a blend of Four Roses Bourbon, simple syrup, lemon juice, blackberry brandy, sugar rim, garnished with a lemon slice. The drink was fantastic! I strongly recommend! We also ordered the cheese curds as an app, some of the best I have ever had! My brother and I both ordered burgers. He went with the cowboy burger, while I went with the bacon double. The burgers were perfection and the fries it came with were crunchy and hot. My mother ordered some chicken tenders with fries, which she thoroughly enjoyed! She couldn't finish the meal, as it was too much chicken for her. No worries, i had one bite and i couldn't stop until i finished what she left! Chicken was perfectly seasoned! The service was excellent throughout the time we were there! It is a wonderful little pub in Celina that I recommend everyone try!“

“Always enjoy going to E&Rs for food and drinks. The staff is always there willing to help and take your orders. We have gone as a family and eat there. It’s a great place and would suggest if you are either looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat. Or a place to have a few drinks and watch sports this would be the place to go. Recommend to anyone.“
“Great food and service. If you like deep fried cauliflower you really gotta try some from this place! Best around hands down! Always fresh beer on tap.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower wings are on point! Plenty of options. If you have questions I’m sure they will be happy to answer them. As I am not Vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: Few claw machines. And arcade games up stairs.“

“Best pizza in the world, and I've been around the world. Well, halfway. But the pizza at Duffy's in St. Marys is amazing. It's a good dinner, a good late-night snack and even a good breakfast. It's all good. Unless you're trying to cut back on pizza. And that won't happen after you have a bite...“
“Great laid back bar for having a few drinks and shooting some billiards. Welcoming atmosphere and great service by the bartender. Whenever my friends and I want to just hang out, drink some beers and play some pool, this is our destination.“

“Review Edit.. I'll keep prior review the same except service. I'd change that to -10 if I could. Because after bragging to others about this place, we decided to take them there. After not getting served and just being looked at, we just left.Damn good ?“

“Went to Ohio for a little road trip, saw this place and decided to stop for dinner and it was the best decision ive ever made. The food was phenomenal, the best food I've ever had at a bar and grill. I got a cocktail and it was delicious but still strong and the service was amazing. Can't say enough good things about this place. Can't wait to go back.“

“Went there this afternoon, Nov. 3,2023. My wife and I each had our own flight of beers/ales and split the pulled pork nachos.First time there and I have to say, it won't be my last. We arrived about 3:00 p.m. and there weren't many folks there yet. As we were newbies, the young lady at the bar was very helpful and patient in describing the liquid menu. We both had a wonderful time. As the regulars began filing in, each were called by name and even though it is a good sized building it felt like a quaint home town tavern. The nachos were nothing short of fantastic. As I am sure that the rest of the menu is just as tasty, I can't wait to get back for a repeat of that Tex-Mex treat. As there are a number of large screen TV's, my guess is that this would be a great place to spend a cold Saturday or Sunday afternoon watching your favorite pig skinners vie for that week's prize. If you arrive and see a good number of cars in the lot, don't be worried. There is a ton of seating available. It is also kid friendly so mom and dad can still go without getting a sitter and have a great time and not going broke in the process.“
