“Eating out is often a challenge because I have gluten and dairy allergies. I was visiting from out of town and they were able to accommodate me. They did let me know that there would likely be cross contamination but I have not had any issues.Dietary restrictions: Talk to the staff and they will do their best to accommodate. They cannot guarantee there won't be cross contamination.“
“Elke and her staff are positively wonderful! Service is always 5 star, as is the food! Truly a treasure in small diners. I always enjoy the close family feel of the restaurant. They treat their customers like family, and you'll often find conversations between staff and customers taking place as if the friendships had been around for generations. Elke brings a bit of Germany to our small town, you absolutely can't beat the food! I hope Elke's Diner is here for many, many years to come.“
“I love what they have done with the old Third Street Deli, leaving in place the small town diner feel but freshening it up to make it their own. The food is great as is the service. Portions are more than generous as well. Gets busy around lunch, as this location usually does, but worth a stop in to try it out.“
