Rodalyn's Kitchen is a special place to satisfy your cravings with a variety of Filipino dishes, offering a nice change from the usual pizza, burgers, and chicken. The restaurant features popular Filipino favorites like sisig, lumpia, and pork tocino, which are highly praised for their flavor. They make their own ube ice cream, which customers describe as really good, and the Halo-Halo stands out as the best tried so far in Ohio, even compared to some enjoyed in the Philippines. The Halo-Halo is made with shaved milk instead of shaved ice, making it creamier, and it’s topped with homemade ice cream and rice krispy topping.
Food orders are placed at a food truck parked next to the dining area, and inside, guests can enjoy dishes like Dinuguan, Pork Tosilog, and chicken options. The Dinuguan is slow-cooked to be very tender and has a unique preparation that renders out the fat, making it a favorite. The garlic rice is also special, with a perfect garlic flavor that impresses many. The Pork Tosilog features sweet and savory marinated pork with a fried egg on rice, and chicken is also available, both tender and flavorful.
Chef Rodalyn personally interacts with customers inside the restaurant, offering samples like her homemade Ube Halaya, which is made from scratch without synthetic flavoring. The restaurant is also working on opening a ghost kitchen in Columbus, expanding their delicious Filipino offerings. Overall, Rodalyn's Kitchen provides a memorable dining experience with friendly service, plenty of parking, and dishes made from scratch with care.
