If the food doesn’t bring you back, the staff will. The atmosphere almost feels at home and so welcoming. Wholesome folks work here.”

“Very interesting location. It's exactly as it advertised with all the fixings. The food was great. I can personally recommend the steak and stout pie. It was both larger and far tastier than I was personally expecting. It is a small spot though and probably could fill up in peak season. there isn't much in the way of parking at the restaurant but there is plenty further down the street within walking distance.”

“Visiting from out of state. Seen the reviews and decided to join them!Pizza was delicious!! Environment inside was like an old Pizza Hut Buffett style. Definitely brings back memories. They cook everything to order. So be prepared to wait! I ordered a small pizza with 3 tops , boneless wings and a large drink. Total was $19. Prices are very fair and reasonable.”

“Perhaps my favorite Mexican restaurant I've been to in Dayton (and there are some good ones).Food:I ordered most recently the Chilaquiles Con Huevo Y Bistek Asado (pictured below). It was awesome. Thinly sliced (flank?) Steak cooked well, with nice slightly crispy edges and a good sear. Eggs were sunny side up and tasty. The meat and eggs were served on top of a nice bed of tortilla chips with lots of cilantro, cotija cheese, and I believe lime juice. Rice and refried beans were served on the side and quite good. There are other variants of this, along with huevos rancheros on the menu. The visit prior to this one, I ordered a pambazo (amazing) and an al pastor sope (also amazing) along with some horchata. A note on the horchata: you get your money's worth ($5 for a huge mason jar of it, I think at least a quart?) for the horchata, and it's easily in the top 2 homemade quality horchatas I've had. Definitely worth it.Pro tip: ask for their hot salsa to go with the chips & salsa. It's good. They normally bring out a roja and a Verde salsa, so the spicy one appears to be 'hidden' and complimentary (or priced such that I didn't notice any real increase in the bill).Customer service:Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that is happy to offer recommendations for menu items and such. The food was prepared and at our table in a timely manner, and accurately. Seating is DIY, so choose your seat as you wish. No issues to be had.Note: you pay at the front desk when done eating, and they seem to keep track of the items ordered on their end. So, you pay before you get your printed receipt, if that makes sense. Just a heads up, so you don't wait around thinking a bill will arrive.A very nice restaurant with lots of menu options and doesn't skimp on the flavor.10/10, ¡Mi restaurante Mexicano favorito!Vegetarian options: Dishes with meat are clearly marked as containing meat, at least in Spanish (pollo, barbacoa, bistek, chorizo etc.), so dishes without such labels can typically safely be assumed to be vegetarian. There are lots of vegetarian options, ranging from tacos and burritos to enchiladas. I haven't tried it, but I wouldn't doubt that substitutions can be made to remove meat from most any dish.Parking: Parking spaces are not super clearly marked, but there is ample space to park at the front of the restaurant (facing the road) or other spots facing the building at the front or side.”

“We sat on the patio in a light rain, and didn't get wet. Indoor seating available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Cute, small place that has great customer service and delicious food. We had tamarind rice bowl with eggplant, kale and chickpeas. Yummy!”

I could go on. the crab Rangoon was great, the Node Peach was fantastic and not too sweet. 10/10. Love it. definitely want to try the Lemongrass Beef or Mongolian Grilled Beef next time, and the Mangonadas drink sounds good. So much to choose from!”

“Great place for families, homeschool, or school outings. The food is good but the ice cream is better. I had the single, double buckeye. Had I realized it was only a dollar cheaper than the double, I would have gotten the double. It was delicious ?. My daughter and I went there after hiking at John Bryan State Park. I got some sort of chicken sandwich with fries. It was just OK. My daughter got chicken strips and fries. Her chicken was better than the chicken on my sandwich. Ultimately, the ice cream was my favorite!”

“We were passing through and stopped at this location on a very busy Friday night around 9pm. Katie was our server and she did an amazing job. Kudos to the chefs, as our food was delicious - it was hot and the seasonings were on point! I've been so disappointed with the location by our house and was blown away with our experience at this location tonight. Katie kept refills coming without prompting and kept our table cleared as we finished eating, which is very much appreciated. I worked at a Texas Roadhouse in college and tonight's experience brought back happy memories!”

“Was exploring the Dayton OH area and stopped into Pettibone for a matcha latte Service was fantastic, person behind the counter was pleasant and very helpful. Latte came out quickly and with a smile. Looking at their menu they have so many amazing sounding drinks, next time I'm in the area I'll definitely be going back. If you're looking for somewhere to get some work done they have tons of seating.”

“My first-time visit to this establishment. I was surprised the inside is small. It's a place where you can sit anywhere. It was pretty busy on a Saturday evening. There's a bar area with seats and a few large screen TV's. I'm not a seafood lover, so I ordered the 3 Parmesan garlic chicken tenders with seasoned fries. The tenders were so good. I like seasoning on the fries. My sister and I ordered the Mozzarella sticks, and they were so good. They were hot and I the crust. Our server was great, but we had to get her attention for refills on drinks. It was only two servers, and they were really busy. My sister ordered two large pieces of fried catfish and fries. She ate everything. Her food was hot and nicely seasoned. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food they serve. I saw a few folks leaving with leftovers. We are both looking forward to visiting again. I forgot to ask if they offer a military discount.”

“I ordered 10 lbs. of turkey thighs from Wieland's Market in Clintonville. Order came in with 15 lbs. I took the extra 5 as well, and I sure am glad that I did! These thighs were HUGE. There were 2 thighs in a pack, and I was able to get 8 nice pieces. It's absolutely the cleanest, tastiest turkey I have ever had! I'm going to make the in-person trip to make additional purchases.”

“This place is awesome!!! Stopped for the first time today and got the Philly pizza. My girlfriend got the chicken Caesar pizza. Both were fantastic. Garlic cheese bread and Caesar salad were great too. Stephanie, the bartender, was super helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!!”

“Baby K wanted ice cream on this chilly day, basically after someone else mentioned it. We got some on the way home from the Air Force Museum. Just off Harshman by the tracks, odd little lot- one entrance for parking, one for drive-through. Super friendly and helpful service. They weren't busy, and when they learned we were newbies they explained all the flavors and other options. And gave samples. K tried Eclipse (Moon Pie and other additions,) Peeps, and one other. Went with Eclipse. Loved it. I saw several I wanted, randomly picked cherries jubilee. Very good, with chunks of chocolate and maraschinos, but I really wasn't in the mood- too cold outside. I should have maybe gotten a shake. And they have those, and sundaes, and several of their own innovations. Clean and comfy inside. We'll keep it in mind for coming visits.”
