I had the grilled cheeseburger and it was fabulous. Louie(sp) was our server and he was a joy. Our drinks got mixed up and they were corrected immediately

I can honestly say I’m very sad to write this we went to Applebees today in mentor for lunch we were seated immediately but wasn’t given silverware we then placed our order and we ordered two beverages from the bar and it took almost an half hour just for them to make them and it wasn’t even full house then when our food came my husband ordered the oriental chicken salad and with grilled chicken and there was no grilled chicken and we were told fresh breadsticks were coming yet we never got fresh breadsticks then the manager came and said he’d take the salad off our bill which he did but then came back later and asked if we wanted a coupon for a free desert and we said sure but when we asked after we paid he came and denied he ever asked us and said I took your salad off very snobbish and walked off and not to mention the ladies restroom was atrocious the soap dispensers were either empty or jammed either way no soap and the automatic hand dryer wasn’t working either I’m gonna be honest I’ve held off on a review hoping it would get better but the last handful of times we’ve been there it’s been really bad cold food not great service it always something and I’m very disappointed how a once loved family restaurant has gone so downhill needless to say we won’t be returning

Well, I guess not every restaurant needs business stopped in here couple minutes before 6 o’clock hoping to get some half prize appetizers. They waited to come and take care of you till it was after six and I asked for the deal and she left and never came back after sitting there for a long time I just left without any food. Never ask me if I want something to drink or eat after that it was over. Kind of a sorry experience, the bad part was I stopped at an Applebee’s in Erie, Pennsylvania traveling from Buffalo towards Cleveland had the same experience so I decided I’ll drive another hour and stop here. I guess that’s what you call a chain reaction. That’s kind of sad because I used to love Applebee’s. Perhaps it’s just the last time I’ll try them.

One of my entrees came out of the kitchen cold and the night shift manager on 10/18/25 decided it would be a good idea to microwave the entire plate. Microwaved bread sticks yum. I paid for fresh cooked food not cooled down and microwaved food. This is this locations second strike for me due to issues with the kitchen.
