“Despite all the other poor reviews I found the store to be a positive experience. I am going to visit family out of state, my nephew asked that I bring a few bottles of Mountain Dew Overdrive he said that I could get at Casey's. Being unfamiliar with both I called the store and asked if they carried it and its availability. He went back and got an idea of the quantity and told me that their store was the former BP off the 74 Miami town exit, not top far away. Shortly after I drove out there and found the store was clean. well stocked and busy. One clerk was helping a customer outside the counter and the other was friendly and helpful when I asked if I could use a box and if they had more Dew in the cooler. She went back and got all I needed and said they would restock the shelf and explained it was an exclusive flavor for their stores, it was on a 3/$5 deal with their rewards program but gave me a scan to get that deal and directed me to their app and said to click on rewards and sign up to get deals like this which I have done and sure enough it looks like a good place to go get gas and convenience store type needs. They had a lot of yummy looking snack foods with their brand on it. I saw and smelled pizza and saw app deals so I will go give them a try when I'm out that way.

So to kinda offset all the 1 star reviews all I can say is that my experience didn't match any of those reviews and you should give the store a chance rather than turn away due tp all the bad reviews. I didn't use the restroom so I cannot comment there.

“Great restaurant. We we're greeted and seated immediately. Everything about this pizzaria is top notch. The pizza is probably the best we've had in the area and the prices very fair considering the high quality of the food. Atmosphere was very warm as the staff. Free parking is plentiful and close for anyone that has a handicap restriction. Enjoy!!!“

“First time here tonight and the service was amazing and quick we were worried coming in about 7:50 since they closed at 9 and we didn’t feel rushed at all.. Food was absolutely delicious we ordered a pizza and hoagie with some cheese sticks, and that dessert especially the peanut butter pie was absolutely amazing I ask the girl at the register who makes it and Nicole idk if you will see this but you know what your doing with that peanut butter pie, it was absolutely the most delicious peanut butter pie I ever had.. it took a lot of self control to not buy every last piece that was left..“

“I ordered from Door Dash first time ever. My door dasher picked my $50 order up and then canceled the order and “fed his family”. Door dash refunded me but the owner is having to fight for a refund, he will get it but my first experience with door dash will be my last. They were not very apologetic and didn’t seem to be surprised at this behavior from a driver. I called the store and wanted them to make the order again and said I’ll pay for it as I will get a refund. The manager was so kind and took care of us. I insisted on paying again for the full order and he would not accept full payment and only wanted a partial payment. The kindness of the store goes beyond what they had to do since currently they are shorted out of the food and it’s not payed for. I will be back for their delicious crispy crust pizza and my daughter had her first hoagie and loved it! Thanks NYPD!!! Thanks for making right what you didn’t have to do for Door Dash. “Many thanks to Dent Snappy Tomato Pizza! We needed pizza delivered to a place that was not covered by delivery due to location. Other places we tried did not even make an attempt to help us out even though they were closer. Snappy bent the rules and delivered 5 yummy pizzas to our farm. They did not have to make that effort-certainly no one else did. Kudos to the manager for creating an atmosphere of community where something out of the ordinary could be possible. The lettuce and toppings appeared warm to the touch as if it sat out on a counter for awhile and just did not taste right.. I order frequently from Larosa's and am usually satisfied with my meals but the salad was a disappointment.“

“**updating my original review from December ‘24. West Side management has reached out and shared that this previous manager is no longer working there. Our deposit was refunded and we all agreed communication could have been better. I appreciate their understanding and follow up. We enjoy the times we have had at the brewery and look forward to getting back again soon.

This one star is solely for the Management of West Side. I’ve been here more times than I can count, from random drop ins for a beer, organized network happy hours to birthday parties. My family invested in the original start up back in the day. They were one of my first places to check out when throwing my mom’s surprise 60th Birthday party. The booking process was fairly simple.. I would have appreciated more communication from management when booking but in today’s world I have very low expectations with customer service.
Day of the party came and I booked 3 extra hours for time to set up and make sure the space was ready. I made sure to introduce myself to all the staff from the kitchen manager, bar tenders (they were good) and taproom manager. Everyone was aware I was the organizer of the event and to reach out to me during for anything.
Party was great! My mom was surprised and it seemed like everyone was very comfortable in the two rooms we rented ($30/hr for 2 rooms from 4-11). I reached back out to the taproom manager for my $100 deposit back & received the unprofessional response attached. I did realize once we arrived at the party that my balloons had confetti inside of them which confetti is not permitted. Balloons are permitted though so unless we went around popping all of them there was no issue in my eyes. I did immediately asked for a broom so I could manage any mess during the party (which there wasn’t). I stayed after with my husband, mother (birthday girl), dad, and cousins to clean everything up spotless.

The second issue was around our guests eating food from the party next to us. This was one couple (65 years old) that got confused & didn’t realize this was not our party. We took over 80% of the party space so it wasn’t clear to them that there was even another party nearby not a part of us.
The fact that no one from west side even brought this to my attention is ridiculous. I would have happily apologized to the other party and purchased food for them to make up for what had happened.
From start to finish Colin at West Side has not been helpful and has been extremely rude. I feel like I need to blame the kitchen staff as well for not communicating at all.

Sadly I would not recommend West Side for any future events. They didn’t feel welcoming and seemed bothered by the 3 children there (out by 9PM) that were very well behaved & enjoying themselves.

The 30+ Cincinnati Firefighter brotherhood that attended is also disappointed to hear how this was handled and won’t be having any future meet ups here.“

“The assistant GM, Roger, is always pleasant. He ensures the store is run efficiently and effectively. Since he took over at this location, the quality of the food and the speed of deliveries has greatly improved. Anytime I come into the store for a pickup order, I am impressed by the cleanliness. He and his staff are courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Delivery orders are much the same, and the drivers are polite and offer a great experience. The improvements I've seen since his recent appointment cannot be overstated.“
