“Despite all the other poor reviews I found the store to be a positive experience. I am going to visit family out of state, my nephew asked that I bring a few bottles of Mountain Dew Overdrive he said that I could get at Casey's. Being unfamiliar with both I called the store and asked if they carried it and its availability. He went back and got an idea of the quantity and told me that their store was the former BP off the 74 Miami town exit, not top far away. Shortly after I drove out there and found the store was clean. well stocked and busy. One clerk was helping a customer outside the counter and the other was friendly and helpful when I asked if I could use a box and if they had more Dew in the cooler. She went back and got all I needed and said they would restock the shelf and explained it was an exclusive flavor for their stores, it was on a 3/$5 deal with their rewards program but gave me a scan to get that deal and directed me to their app and said to click on rewards and sign up to get deals like this which I have done and sure enough it looks like a good place to go get gas and convenience store type needs. They had a lot of yummy looking snack foods with their brand on it. I saw and smelled pizza and saw app deals so I will go give them a try when I'm out that way.

So to kinda offset all the 1 star reviews all I can say is that my experience didn't match any of those reviews and you should give the store a chance rather than turn away due tp all the bad reviews. I didn't use the restroom so I cannot comment there.

So go get some gas and Mountain Dew, have a few friendly words with the people around you and have a great day.“

“First time here tonight and the service was amazing and quick we were worried coming in about 7:50 since they closed at 9 and we didn’t feel rushed at all.. Food was absolutely delicious we ordered a pizza and hoagie with some cheese sticks, and that dessert especially the peanut butter pie was absolutely amazing I ask the girl at the register who makes it and Nicole idk if you will see this but you know what your doing with that peanut butter pie, it was absolutely the most delicious peanut butter pie I ever had.. it took a lot of self control to not buy every last piece that was left..“

“Got a pepperoni pizza today and it was cooked perfectly. Most thicker style pizzas will be underdone but there was no flop on this pizza and the undercarriage was perfectly crispy. Awesome job and the people who run the show and make the pizzas are the best!“

“Was served buy a young man named Tank. I don't ever write reviews but this kid deserves it. Easily the best service I've ever experienced in my life. I showed up with a party of 10. 8 kids ages 4 weeks to 10 years. Wasn't having the best night to begin with if you have kids you know. This kid turned my entire night around he went above and beyond anything required of him as a server asking each kid what they would like to drink pointing them out on the menu. We ended up getting just a party size platter of pretzel bites to share. I was busy trying to feed the hungry 4 week old baby to try to dish out pretzels to all the kids not only did he step right in and help he put cheese on there plates as well. Shout-out to his parents you raised him right and should be proud of everything you have taught him. This kid deserves a raise, you think of larosa's family comes to my mind and he made me feel like I belonged there. So if you ever stop in here ask for him he will not disappoint. Thanks Tank for being such an awesome person.“

“I ordered from Door Dash first time ever. My door dasher picked my $50 order up and then canceled the order and “fed his family”. Door dash refunded me but the owner is having to fight for a refund, he will get it but my first experience with door dash will be my last. They were not very apologetic and didn’t seem to be surprised at this behavior from a driver. I called the store and wanted them to make the order again and said I’ll pay for it as I will get a refund. The manager was so kind and took care of us. I insisted on paying again for the full order and he would not accept full payment and only wanted a partial payment. The kindness of the store goes beyond what they had to do since currently they are shorted out of the food and it’s not payed for. I will be back for their delicious crispy crust pizza and my daughter had her first hoagie and loved it! Thanks NYPD!!! Thanks for making right what you didn’t have to do for Door Dash. Door Dash do better and make sure that driver is fired.“

“Many thanks to Dent Snappy Tomato Pizza! We needed pizza delivered to a place that was not covered by delivery due to location. Other places we tried did not even make an attempt to help us out even though they were closer. Snappy bent the rules and delivered 5 yummy pizzas to our farm. They did not have to make that effort-certainly no one else did. Kudos to the manager for creating an atmosphere of community where something out of the ordinary could be possible. “learn how to cook the pizza [compton and pippin store] barely cook the dough very flimsy and awful taste. they over sauce sometimes other times dont pay attention to order when request light cheese. if you order "well done" its gross too because now the cheese tastes burnt. don't know why last year they've changed how they cook, but its awful not ordering from there anymore“

The lettuce and toppings appeared warm to the touch as if it sat out on a counter for awhile and just did not taste right.. “**updating my original review from December ‘24. West Side management has reached out and shared that this previous manager is no longer working there. Our deposit was refunded and we all agreed communication could have been better. I appreciate their understanding and follow up. We enjoy the times we have had at the brewery and look forward to getting back again soon.

This one star is solely for the Management of West Side. I’ve been here more times than I can count, from random drop ins for a beer, organized network happy hours to birthday parties. My family invested in the original start up back in the day. They were one of my first places to check out when throwing my mom’s surprise 60th Birthday party. The booking process was fairly simple.. I would have appreciated more communication from management when booking but in today’s world I have very low expectations with customer service.
Day of the party came and I booked 3 extra hours for time to set up and make sure the space was ready. I made sure to introduce myself to all the staff from the kitchen manager, bar tenders (they were good) and taproom manager. Everyone was aware I was the organizer of the event and to reach out to me during for anything.
Party was great! My mom was surprised and it seemed like everyone was very comfortable in the two rooms we rented ($30/hr for 2 rooms from 4-11). I reached back out to the taproom manager for my $100 deposit back & received the unprofessional response attached. I did realize once we arrived at the party that my balloons had confetti inside of them which confetti is not permitted. Balloons are permitted though so unless we went around popping all of them there was no issue in my eyes. I did immediately asked for a broom so I could manage any mess during the party (which there wasn’t). I stayed after with my husband, mother (birthday girl), dad, and cousins to clean everything up spotless.

The second issue was around our guests eating food from the party next to us. This was one couple (65 years old) that got confused & didn’t realize this was not our party. We took over 80% of the party space so it wasn’t clear to them that there was even another party nearby not a part of us.
The fact that no one from west side even brought this to my attention is ridiculous. I would have happily apologized to the other party and purchased food for them to make up for what had happened.
From start to finish Colin at West Side has not been helpful and has been extremely rude. I feel like I need to blame the kitchen staff as well for not communicating at all.

Sadly I would not recommend West Side for any future events. They didn’t feel welcoming and seemed bothered by the 3 children there (out by 9PM) that were very well behaved & enjoying themselves.

The 30+ Cincinnati Firefighter brotherhood that attended is also disappointed to hear how this was handled and won’t be having any future meet ups here.“

“First time trying NYPD, had a Grubhub coupon. Had heard good reviews so wanted to try it. The spaghetti with red sauce and chicken arrived steaming hot and was a good-sized portion. Very delicious. The night sticks with pizza sauce is basically like pizza and was very tasty. I wish I could have gotten pepperoni on it. The brownie was pretty good too. Only negatives were the garlic bread was a little dried out, the pizza sauce was cold, and some of the side items, like banana peppers, should be free like other pizza places. All in all I was impressed and will return.“

“This is my go-to spot for a calzone. Ordering online is simple and the food is always ready to pickup in 10-15 minutes. There is no dine in option here so get your food to go. There is a drive through, but I always pick up at the counter where there is usually no wait.“

Tonight we ordered delivery and I had accidentally hit the donation option instead of the tip option and didn’t realize it until I had already placed the order. I called the store and spoke with a male employee (didn’t catch his name), despite phone issues he remained on the line and was very polite. The delivery driver was a young male (again I don’t know his name either) he knew about the donation/tip issue and offered me my money back. I obviously declined and gave him a cash tip.
