“We had double cheeseburger quesadilla and the battered cod. The batter coating on the fish was crispy and not greasy. Nice size piece of white flaky cod. Quesadilla had plenty of filling. Atmosphere is just a down home bar/restaurant vibe which we enjoyed. Worth the 15 minute drive.“

“A mixup with our carryout order turned into one the best customer service experiences in recent memory at Newtown Village Tavern. The owners were very attentive to our order mishap and had assured us our order would be hot and prepared as requested. The food was delicious and you now have our forever patronage. I highly suggest that you give NVT a try for what I consider to be the best pizza in the area! Customer service is above and beyond!“

“Was looking for a place to go for some good food and drinks before a concert at riverbend. The local post was SO good! Not pictured is the Buffalo chicken egg rolls and fried pickles. Pictured is a summer special cocktail, and the 1788 burger with their uniquely shaped fries that were perfectly crispy. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend!“

“I've been here for years and although it still looks the same, the food is still delicious. This laid back, corner bar and grill is just what you want during the week when you want a burger and beer. Love the atmosphere and the staff is amazing. They did add some outdoor bar, which is awesome!“

“Visited after a Riverbend concert. The rush of people wrecked the servers for about an hour. There has got to be a better method of handling these spikes in attendance. They know it's coming after the big shows I'm sure...
The Friday night karaoke was very well executed and quite entertaining!“
“Hanks... Hanks is Hanks, solid bartenders. Pool table is bang up as well. I wouldnt mess with the bartenders cause they can handle their own business but don't think they don't have a plethora of regulars that will have their back, cause they're just that good and hospitable to their customers. Walk in and you feel like a regular. Love it and will be back again and referring to friends to watch the game at.
Parking: If not in the front go around back.

“5 out of 5!!!me and my friends doing the bourbon trail came all the way from North Carolina up to visit. Awesome wings, awesome staff, and most importantly awesome sports on the tv’s. Definitely will be going back. Thanks for doing Carolina proud with yalls Carolina gold bbq sauce.“
“Sarah is so incredibly sweet, and patrons tend to be fairly friendly. Weed smell is fairly strong. They do their best to separate it but it's kinda overwhelming. Selection isn't the greatest, limited beer, no wine, mostly liquor.“

“Very surprising atmosphere inside versus what you see on the outside. Portions were large. I had the fish and chips but opted for broccoli instead of chips. Very good. I consider myself a cole slaw snob and I liked their cole slaw. They offer steak, hamburgers different wraps quesadillas and salads.“

“Granted we went like 30 min after it opened and I think it's more of a nightlife spot BUT:
the food was good
The drinks were good
It's a dive but a I love a dive so I was happy.
If you dig a dive bar with shit to do (for instance, tonight is trivia night), then you gotta get to Silverton Cafe. We'll definitely be going back.“

“LOVE this place. Great atmosphere, fantastic service. I live close and regularly stop in for lunch. Sadly, I haven't made their Trivia Night on Mondays in a while- but if you have the chance, its so fun. Local comedian Steve Caminiti hosts and will have you laughing from start to finish! Always a blast!“

“Nice place with a lot of character for a tavern/ sports bar, plenty of screens, and a nice menu.
The BLT was good but light on bacon - 4 slices, which I'd ask for extra.bacon next time.
The fries are awesome, and the chicken club salad looked amazing.
Staff was friendly but needed some help like everywhere else needing more help“

“We LOVED Tina aka “TT”! We ordered the bottle caps, mini corn dogs, wings, steak, and bbq baked beans. Everything was delicious and so reasonably priced! Vibes were great. As a girl from TN, I wish I had one closer to home!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!“
