“Always a good dining experience, however I gave food a 4 because the spice level of your food can be hit or miss. Sometimes you get spice appropriate to what you ordered and sometimes there is no spiciness to be found. Still very tasty even without the heat, but if you like your food spicy it can be disappointing.“

“Great place probably one of the best meals I’ve had so far this year, prices are reasonable and the service was so quick. I went on a Friday night and within 30 mins I ordered, had my food, and paid- you can’t beat speed like that. I had the butter chicken and the sauce was very thick- I ordered not spicy and I think I’ll be able to take my family members here that are sensitive to spice.“

“Food was very good, all type of Indian food can be found here. No issues with our food at all, this is the closet thing to make you feel like you are eating this in India.“

“I've been searching for a restaurant that I can eat my favorite dish without worrying about my severe nut allergy. They make nuts an addition instead of incorporating into the food. Also, it's super yummy!“

“My fiancée and I decided to stop in here on a whim for lunch, and wow are we glad we did. We just found our new favorite spot for Indian food in town. The food was excellent (we both got the buffet), the dining room was clean and had nice decor, and the staff was so kind to us and our one-year-old daughter. I also overheard when another patron came in who was trying Indian food for the first time, and the staff took the time to describe the different items on the buffet for her and provide recommendations, which just struck me as really great customer service. The prices were extremely reasonable too. Overall we had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back!“

“The restaurant has a posh feel, very friendly staff and the food was outstanding!! I have been looking for a korma dish that is reminiscent to what I had in England and this is the only place I found in the dayton/cincinnati are that has the flavor. We also had curry and vindaloo, all were delicious and I think I have found my new happy place.“

“I got lunch at Godavari and my boyfriend and I really liked their food. Although just for other lunch buffet connoisseurs, their lunch buffet is only open on weekends according to the staff. So if you were inclined to get their lunch buffet on a weekday, I would recommend going on a weekend or getting a lunch combo instead.“

“Brij Mohan is a great spot for authentic Indian flavors. Their Papri Chaat and Dahi Poori are outstanding — crisp, tangy, and perfectly spiced. The Tarka Dal is flavorful and feels just like home-cooked comfort food.
The only miss was the chai, which was quite average and could use some improvement to match the rest of their menu. Overall, a wonderful experience with friendly service and great value — definitely worth visiting for a true taste of India in Cincinnati!“

“Have been going here few times every year - food was always pretty good and the price was not over the top... I like they combined the Thai and Indian restaurants together and you can now mix both cuisines from the same table (seating was just 4-5 small tables at Ravis before). And glad the food is equally good no matter which cuisine. You can sit anywhere you want but recommend the Thai side to the right which seems to be more upscale although it's the same waiting staff who btw were pretty quick (after they combined, went once for a weekday lunch and recently for a weekday dinner).
Noting that there are a LOT more tables between the two places now (30?)- so I can see how they could get overloaded during peak times unless they have more than 2 waiters? And they are good folks - don't expect it to be like a corporate run place.“

“The food was exceptional. A little pricey, but completely worth it. Nothing you can make at home and very authentic! The people were also super nice and the atmosphere is super comforting. Walked in on a cold day and was hit with the delicious spices and smells. 100% recommended“
