Sonic Drive-In offers good food, with a particular love for their blasts. Many customers enjoy the burgers, which are praised for being perfectly made, even during busy times, and they are consistent in quality. The restaurant provides a variety of drinks, including the popular Route 44 slushy drinks with great lemonade and flavor options. The cherry lime ade is highly recommended, and the jalapeño poppers are a favorite for regular orders. The groozy fries are praised for their crispiness, freshness, and the tasty groozy sauce that rivals canes sauce. The location offers car hop service, making it convenient for customers who prefer to drive through. They have happy hour from 2-4 daily with discounts through their app, and the small outdoor seating area is available for dine-in. Despite the enjoyable food and good service, the restaurant is sometimes criticized for being too overpriced, which may discourage frequent visits. The lack of indoor seating and delays caused by the absence of working screens are noted areas for improvement. Overall, Sonic Drive-In remains a good spot for snacks and drinks, with some standout menu items and friendly service.
