Best pizza ever!
Can we all finally agree that this is Ohio style pizza? Cassanos thinks they originated Dayton style pizza. I live near a pizzeria called Gattos in Columbus which was established a year earlier in 1952. Thin crust, party cut. Who really started this? I dunno. But I'll tell you this, having grown up in Springfield, OH, Cassanos is my all time favorite pizza. The thin seasoned crust and the finely diced toppings ensure you get all the flavors in every bite.
