The food here is incredible and very creative. Every single thing on your plate serves a purpose to the overall taste. Superb wine selection as well! We also loved its overall ambience and elegance. “I think Lola's is a great piece to eat and meet w friends. The pace has real charm and is just a really nice place to eat in. Especially when weather allows to sit outside or enjoy the daylight. Our server was friendly and attentive.
I took one star, bc personally, while the food was quite good, I didn't feel it quite matched the taste-to-cost ratio. It was good, but was it $50-good, not quite IMHO. The drinks were good, albeit a bit $$, but that's true everywhere these days. I'd visit again, but it's not high on my list. Maybe I'd try something besides dinner next time. Oh, and leave time to find parking. It took us about 10mins to find a spot.“

“I was recently given a recommendation to try The Standard, and I’m very glad I took it.

As someone who loves good food, finding a hidden gem in a city you already enjoy visiting is always a treat. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between upscale and welcoming. I ended up sitting on the patio, which made for a fantastic evening.

Nicole was my server, and she was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable without ever being overbearing. She took the time to answer questions about the menu and made several recommendations that absolutely elevated the experience. Her suggestion to start with the octopus appetizer was spot on. It was one of the best appetizers I’ve had in a very long time.

For the main course, I ordered the hanger steak with chimichurri, and it was exceptional. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and one of those meals that has you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished the first one.

What really stood out was how well everything came together. Great atmosphere, incredible food, and service that genuinely made the experience memorable. Nicole did an excellent job, and her recommendations were a big part of what made the evening so enjoyable.

Five stars hardly feels adequate. The Standard delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I’ll absolutely be back.“
