Comparing it to other local more famous ice cream shops,Id rate this ice cream shop right up there among the best. Just not enough people know about this ice cream shop. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, the hot cocoa was so good, and was topped with a homemade marshmallow, and the doughnuts were to die for !! Paid with a credit card....best part was they didn't ask for a tip! I cringe when I am handed a credit card machine at a drive through with a tip option. A+++ I will definitely be back!”

“The Beacon Cafe is a perfect Coffee Shop that has stunning food. This historic building has amazing character with incredible amounts of comfy seating inside and out. This is a religious oriented Coffee Shop so respect that. They are the nicest folks on the planet. No matter what distance they are from you go. Do not think about it just go. The quiche I had with fresh spinach and roasted walnuts and poppyseed dressing all of it was so great. The espresso was on point and earl Grey. Amazingly comfy seats. Look at photos and you will see what I mean. You need to go here.”

“Nice little place for a quick lunch. Service was attentive and kind. Lunch offerings were very reasonably priced. The food quality was good and flavor was great. The quantity was great as well. The place is situated in the Dundee Marketplace next to the deli counter as an order at the counter type place, then the server brings your food to your table in the small seating area off to the side. the Market was also a nice little place to get some local goods.”
