first time visiting, but the food was amazingly delicious. the waitress was very friendly, made eye contact when she spoke to us. our drinks were filled promptly as we drank them.the hostess seated us quickly and the wait was nothing. we were taken care of pretty fast and greeted with a smile.i would definitely go again.
Always have great service and tasty food.
If their credit card machine goes down, and you don’t have cash, they are NOT allowed to write down your credit card/debit card number! Per Google search:

Based on the reviews, Mel-O-Dee | Restaurant • Catering is an excellent, nice family restaurant with a feel of an old-fashioned diner. The atmosphere, service, and food are delicious, welcoming, and respectful. The broasted chicken is the best around, and the breasted chicken is fantastic. The macaroni and cheese is recommended when available. The coleslaw is some of the best, famous, and perfect, though a bit on the sweeter side. A double burger with fries is a good option. The all you can eat whitefish comes piled high, and diners should save room for dessert, like the chocolate cream pie, cherry pie, or apple pie. The 2-egg breakfast is very generous with meat. Guests should get a loaf of the house bread. The server at Mel-O-Dee makes guests feel right at home. If visiting Buc-ee’s, it is worth the small detour.
