McAlister's Deli offers the best chili and sweet tea, with vegetarian options like a veggie sandwich and veggie chili. The meat chili is excellent, and the Cuban sandwich with potato salad is a must-try, although it’s not recommended for takeout due to the wet pork. The restaurant is clean, with friendly staff who are attentive and helpful. Customers appreciate the plentiful menu options and the ability to choose the pick two meal, which is both wallet-friendly and satisfying; many leave full after splitting a large salad and sandwich. The food consistently tastes good, and the service is often outstanding, enhancing the dining experience. The salads are popular, although some reviews mention occasional order mistakes where items are not prepared as requested. Plenty of parking is available in the shopping center location. Recent reviews highlight well-seasoned food, with options like baked potato and lobster soup, and premium choices such as turkey, bacon, and avocado. The staff are quick, efficient, and pleasant, and the ambiance is divided into sections for privacy. The sweet tea is definitely southern, and the broccoli and cheese soup does not contain beef or chicken broth, which is appreciated by some customers.
