“North Benton Dairy Bar is a must-visit classic American dairy bar and the go-to spot for the area. Here’s what makes it worth the trip:
The Food Menu is impressive and diverse. Beyond the standard fare, they offer an excellent selection of appetizers including zucchini fries, chicken nuggets, cheddar cheese balls, and mushrooms. Their French fries come in multiple basket sizes with optional toppings like cheese or chili.
The burger selection is genuinely extensive—ranging from 1/4 pound to full 1 pound varieties with all the premium options (Angus beef, bison). Specialty sandwiches include meatloaf, fish, steak burgers, sausage, and pizza burgers. They also offer about a dozen varieties of hot dogs and coney dogs to round out the savory side.
The Desserts and Treats are where North Benton really shines. They feature three full pages of flurry flavors, two pages of sundae options, and an entire page dedicated to slush puppies. Add in specialty treats, shakes in every flavor imaginable, and Velvet Ice Cream with premium options like cookies ‘n cream, mint chocolate chip, and salted caramel. Whether you want a soft-serve cone, a waffle bowl sundae, or a thick milkshake, they’ve got you covered.
Beverages run the gamut—16-ounce canned sodas and 20-ounce bottles in all the classic flavors plus specialty options.
The Atmosphere is pleasant, with ample parking and two large picnic tables for enjoying your meal.

“If you order a DQ blizzard cake. Expect the staff to give you a week old lobby freezer cake that taste extremely freezer burnt after they scraped the old writing off to put the new writing on and expect the manager to give you an attitude and tell you he won't refund you but give you a voucher for a future cake. It's sad. That DQ use to be really good 😔“

“I had my first Banana Split in years, and boy was it good! I watched the attendant make it, and my mouth watered while I watched! I left a $2 tip. The ice cream was expensive like everything else right now. No drive-thru and seating was outside only. I was very satisfied!“

“Even on a stormy & cloudy night, a Dairy Queen visit will bring smiles to everyone faces. I love getting a sundaes but it is also fun to bring home some Cherry dipped Dilly bars & ice cream sandwiches for everyone else. It all disappears way too quickly. lol -We also love getting ice cream cakes for birthday parties & celebrations.

I actually live in the next city over, about 15 minutes away, with a DQ in it, and I will drive to this Dairy Queen.
