We have ate here several times and have always loved it. On our most recent visit, there were 5 of us dining. All of us really liked our food except my husband. He ordered a ribeye steak, priced at $45, and it came out with gravy on it (huh?!) It was fatty and was not good. He only ate a couple of bites. He should have told the waitress but did not. We have gotten filet mignon at other places for less than this. Disappointing. We went down to the speakeasy after dinner...
Love this place has great history. Lots of original items inside the building is very old but well kept. And it's interesting that this particular place was once part of the underground railroad. Definitely a place to visit
This place was great for many years, but the new owners have changed the menu and our food came out and I was not impressed. The bartenders are very slow now and the drinks are just not the same. I feel like it’s going down hill and it’s sad to see that.
