“The best Tamales in Toledo, both Spicy and mild. You can buy them by the dozen, Cold or Hot. I buy three dozen pretty regularly, they're so good. The staff is so nice and helpful. The only down side is they only sell them on Saturdays and Sundays. But that tells you how damn good they are. 10 out 10. Beans and rice are top notch as well. Their pasteries are also so good. All in all it's you traditional Mexican Bodega with that fire food and merch. BUT if you Need further convincing..... I'm Mexican and eat there lol.“

Was waited on by one of the family ( nice lady with beautiful white hair ) and you would have thought it was my normal Friday stop. If they’re all like that, no wonder it s been the go to for 95 + years. The cakes, cookies, and cupcakes I have tried so far have been nothing less than amazing !
For me it started with a happy 18th birthday cake and it’s still continuing with the random cup cake or cookies orders!
I’d say packaging and presentation are always A1 and when it comes to looks and taste I’d rate it A1000!
Exquisite!!!! Seriously!
The service is always very friendly even if Mrs. LaGresha doesn’t personally hand deliver!
And the atmosphere is very energizing uplifting ! She’s not just any cake lady, she’s a special one. And when I say I can taste the love in her baking…. I mean it!

“I have stopped in to get Apple Fritters, and I love them. They are just the right size and are moist and very delicious. I like their donuts, cream cheese muffins, and sugar cookies, but the Apple Fritters are my favorite. The staff is pleasant and friendly each time I have been in there.“

“Stopped in on a fall-like windy night. It was cozy inside. The atmosphere is relaxing and classy. There’s a lot more space inside than appears from the outside and I loved how there were different sections to hang out in upstairs or downstairs. Our bartender Andrew made a customized aperol spritz that was delicious! We also got the berries & brie and a smoothie for my little one.“

“I have never had a bad experience here. Their Baked goods are as tasty as a small bakery. Their birthday cake service is super easy and reasonably priced. Fill out a form, drop it in the box and your cake is ready the next day, when you specify the pickup time. The only thing that could make it better would be to have more options for the cake flavor, filling, decorations etc ...“
