Wixey's is one of Toledo's long time, high quality bakeries and there's only a few of those left. I have my favorites and over the years I've never been disappointed with the donut's and pastries. Friendly and courageous service with all that old time neighborhood fell.
Let me start with back story to lead up to how wonderful this bakery is! They gained a forever customer! My older children lost their dad a year ago (2/19/23). His birthday was 2/18. He lived in Alabama and Mardis Gras was his favorite. My children wanted to have king cake in memory of their dad. I had seen one at some local grocery stores, but was too soon to buy. Just love this place. It so hard to find doughnuts don't have that artificial flavoring taste anymore. In the variety in selection they have is amazing. Highly highly highly recommend going to the bakery.
