Lovely coffee shop that is decently far from campus - which I love! The coffee was great and the staff was incredibly sweet. I came here to grab a coffee and talk with a friend and it may not be the best place for that because I felt the store was very quiet, but that means that it is a wonderful place to get work done. I will definitely be coming back here.
While I am not a regular customer, I can say that I have been waited on in a timely fashion during the few visits in the past five or so years. Baristas are always friendly. Last time I went in for a recommendation and the barista was very knowledgeable. I purchased a bag of their beans and had no idea they were whole until the barista offered to grind it for me. Since the cafe is only open Saturdays, I’ve only had their beans shipped to my house. The service, selection, and freshness is fantastic - if I order in the morning, the beans are on my doorstep by that afternoon, sometimes roasted the same day. There are usually about a dozen varietals to choose from, with some rotation. If I don’t see a new one that I haven’t tried before, I go with the light roast Ethiopian and am never disappointed.
