We stopped by OxVegas Chicken in Oxford after a college visit at Miami University with my wife and son. Everything we saw online made this place look incredible, so we were excited to try it.
The space itself is actually pretty cute and very student-friendly. Ordering is done on a touchscreen, and your food is brought out to you, which makes it quick and convenient. That said, the only real service interaction we had was when the food was dropped off.
Unfortunately, the fries were cold and the chicken was just okay. I can absolutely see this being a totally different experience if the place were busy and everything was coming out hot and fresh. Today just felt like an off day.
I can definitely understand why this spot would be a super convenient and popular option for Miami University students. For us, it just wasn’t a standout experience, but I wouldn’t rule out giving it another shot during a busier time.

I was greeted by the lovely soul and personality of Riley Ott. She taught me how to use the kiosk and even recommended the Apple Vinaigrette salad, which was a delight to enjoy! I enjoyed the tasteful music and entertaining TV’s to overall make a memorable experience that I will reflect on for the remainder of my time in Oxford!

Traveled to Oxford from southern Ohio to visit my Grandson. He is a sophomore at Miami University. Two of his roommates joined us. The food was amazing! The boys had never been to OxVegas chicken before, They will be coming back !

My wife and I recently visited Oxford, and several people recommended we try OxVegas Chicken — and I’m so glad we did. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and most importantly, the chicken was outstanding. The house sauce is fantastic and the signature pretzel stick perfectly rounds out the meal. They also had a solid beer selection, Municipal Brew Works on tap being our favorite. Check this place out!

The staff was rude. The food was warm at best and my daughter came home and threw up. She had the chicken. She wasn't sick prior and due to the temp of the food, I am sure that is what made her throw up.
