Good times at Steinkeller and although not perfectly authentic German it's the best in the area. It's a huge Miami University hang. Likely due to the 40 oz steins of beers, incredible portions of food and their beloved pretzels.The restaurant is located uptown Oxford off the main drag on the basement. Wonderful steakhouse and the food is consistently pretty good. Highly recommend coming on a Wednesday night for steak night it is the best that Stienkellers has to offer for the best price. On other nights dinner can be a bit expensive but still enjoyable. Beer pretzel is also fantastic.

Finally, I made it here for Schnitzel and Stiegl Bier. Really nice place with a real German feel. Service was great, food was awesome, and the beer selection phenomenal! Especially the Stiegl! Glad we made the trip to Oxford, we will be back!
