I’d give this place a 2 stars out of 5 based on my disappointing experience.
We ordered the sauerkraut balls as an app. They were good. But within one minute of serving them the server returned with our entrees. This is a bush league move that shows they know nothing about timing.
My side had the Grilled Chicken Cesar salad. They get points for using what appears to be hand-torn Romaine lettuce instead of a bagged version.

We went for brunch but Ms. Gina made it an experience. She was welcoming, amazing attitude and very attentive. We always love the food but Ms. Gina will keep us coming back when she’s there!
I have been eating here for a while. Lately the quality of steak seems to have gone downhill. It is very gristly and tough. They are typically out of baked potatoes on steak night (Wednesdays).

Steinkeller offers great food and a fun German atmosphere. The cheese curds and pretzel with bier cheese were fantastic choices. The chicken sandwich and jagrschnitzel were also highlights. The staff, including Gina, provided excellent service, making the experience enjoyable. The moist and delicious schnitzel, especially the pork schnitzel on home fries with sausage gravy and a fried egg, is a must-try. The Sunday prime rib special was a hit for a family of 10, with substitutions handled well.
German-inspired cuisine with plenty of American flair and an impressive drink list, including authentic beers like Paulaner Salvator and Kostritzer Schwarzbier. The pretzels are perfect, and the burgers are great for those new to German food. The decor is fun, and the staff is amazing, always patient and willing to help with beer recommendations.
Great German beer and a welcoming environment make Steinkeller a place to return to, whether for a date night, celebration, or just a tasty meal. The new brunch weekends get a big thumbs up!
