We arrived for lunch as a party of three and were quickly seated. Our server was top notch. She shared the specials, gave us ample time to make our selections and then placed our order. I generally don’t eat French fries, but had a few as one of the other diners ordered the large order of Shroom Fries…they were amazing. I had a salad with grilled chicken added. For years this was a favorite spot, but based on our experiences from the last 6 months we are not really interested in going back. I feel like the kitchen has gotten very lazy and away from their roots of a great menu and killer specials, and are now just relying on the former reputation to sell it. Could also be that a good chef left and the talent is just gone. The servers are great, atmosphere is same as it ever was, but the food quality makes ordering here not worth it....
A hidden gem in downtown Painesville. The food is always delicious and fresh. The lobster bisque soup is one the very best we've ever had! It's cozy in the winter and chill in the summer sitting outside on the patio. Always a great choice!
