Dragon Gate is a Chinese restaurant with a menu that includes some good food without pork. The Honey Garlic Chicken is very good, with a sweet and savory flavor, and the breading soaks up the sauce. The General Tso's Chicken is really the best, using larger chunks of chicken that feel like real meat, and the orange chicken is also delicious. The egg rolls and vegetable fried rice are especially enjoyed, and the pork fried rice is great, not overly salty. However, the lo mein is horrible, with thin watery noodles in an odd broth and flavorless chicken. The fried rice has a smokiness that some do not love. Service can be slow or uninterested, and is not exactly friendly, though one waitress was SO friendly, totally efficient and attentive. The dining area can be a bit dark inside, but the ambiance is very pleasant, clean, and nicely decorated with relaxing music. The drive-up and drive thru are great options. The restaurant is not run down, just a classic restaurant. Prices are very reasonable and portions are amazing.
