“I have found a new Salvadoran fave. It's closer to our home and church, and it's open on Sundays! The owner and her daughter Catherine are a delight. And the pupusas... heavenly. We were a group of 10 people and the service was excellent. Everyone loved the food. We will definitely be back and back again.“

“On Tuesday, June 17th, 18 old ladies and gents "dropped in" for lunch, thinking arrangements had been made for us. Someone slipped up. The restaurant already had a healthy number of customers but the staff hustled tables, chairs, setups, etc. and in no time, we were soon seated and making our food choices. Instead of any of the staff having an "attitude", we were treated with Simon's usual good cheer. Bravo Simon's!“

“I have been coming here since I was a little girl. Every Sunday after mass, we would have breakfast at the Whip. The specials are always affordable, the coffee is always hot, and the lovely ladies who work there are always smiling and offering their latest and best service. I remember Linda, and Stella still as amazing as ever. And the breakfast IS AMAZING. Thank you for keeping my inner child and adult self smiling and fed. Please don't ever change.“

“Our first time there and Shirley was so friendly and welcoming! It's definitely a greasy spoon, but the breakfast was really fresh, tasty and plentiful. Amazing prices. Our child never had grits and Shirley offered her some to try. Pancake was chewy and light. The sausage gravy was flavorful and not too salty. Coffee was too weak for me, but what you'd expect. Our other child had the chicken tenders and fries, both were fresh and hot. You can tell the oil they fried it in was fresh (not that bitter taste to fried foods when it's old oil). Next time we'll do dry toast, as like with a lot of breakfast places, they slather the butter on. Overall, we'd go back!“

“I ordered what would have equaled 42.12 by the numbers on their own menu board but when the total came out it was 56.16 about 14 dollars more when I asked about the price varying from what their menu says I got no answer besides that’s what it is
Edit: after leaving this review the owner reached out apparently whatever worker was on the register rang me up for the prices for a third party app like DoorDash etc and he then promptly refunded me the difference and a bit more“

“I was 16 years old when my uncle Leon brought me here I'm from wv and come to ohio to visit family I'm 31 years old now and I haven't forgot this place at all the food is amazing and the staff treat u like family it's crazy I came here to eat as a kid now I'm bringing my family there to eat I hope this place stays open for ever.“

“Ordered on DoorDash and everything was delicious. I loved this breakfast rice bowl. I love rice for breakfast and most places don’t do rice. Expansive selection of beverages too. This tastes like breakfast should. Like ma made it in the kitchen for you. It was a good portion of food too. A way better choice over fast food delivery.“

Her name is Barb. She adds so much hospitality to this Bob Evans.
We checked out with Barb and she has personality...what a pleasure to have met Barb...
There definitely should be more people in the hospitality industry like Barb

“The food was good, but the service was way better. They are very friendly and go above. I wish I knew the name of the pretty waitress who found my favorite ring that I accidentally left at the table, she actually ran out and stopped us at the last moment to give it back. I am so, so thankful.“
