“This is one of my favorite coffee locations in Ohio! If the creativity of the selection of drinks wasn't a big enough sell and the homemade pastries, the visual atmosphere is by far one of the most unique and creative designs I have seen in a coffee house! It is a redesigned silo! That is right! The backyard is absolutely beautiful and offers so many activities along with a wonderful seating arrangement. My only complaint is that I don't live close enough to it! But I take my friends here when they are in town, I have taken my family here when they visited because I just want them to see how amazing this place truly is!”

“Just tried this place out for the first time and it’s good! Was at their new location in Troy staff was nice. Got my drink and bubble waffle and it was so good! Will definitely be back.”

“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.”

“What a great experience! The building was beautiful, it’s huge but still feels very private. Ordering at different bars is kinda weird, I’d love for them to use a kiosk system or something but also wasn’t a big enough turn off to change my mind on coming here in the future. Service was quick and friendly, and everything was really yummy. We had two boards, and the roasted olives and several varieties of beer since my husband kept ordering me the “surprise me” beer and let the bartender pick. The kids brought card games and played quietly while the adults conversed and caught up… and we had about 100 dollars of food and 100 dollars of beer and I don’t regret the spurge. We were there around 2 hours.”

“Best coffee shop I've ever been to. You walk in there and it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to start wondering if North Star coffee station has been open for a long time. Every time I walk in there I'm greeted with positivity which is infectious. Definitely worth a 45 minute drive for me just to get some good coffee. and with some brilliant flavors definitely going again sometime soon.”

“Absolutely wonderful! Food was fantastic but I walked in with 3 (2 year old and town 6 year olds) kids alone. I really have had a long day. These women got my kids drinks, coloring stuff, and distracted them while I ordered. It’s a small thing but I can’t thank all of them enough. I just needed a hand and they gave two! Gerardo “G” - our host - went out of his way to accommodate our large party of 35 parents and players this past Saturday evening. We are so happy that he was able to look after our large group with very little notice, giving us a memorable experience we will never forget. Fantastic food/beverages and service - huge portions at reasonable prices. We truly enjoyed ourselves and were able to celebrate one of our members special birthdays.
