Was in town and was in the mood for comfort food so stopped at McCarthy and it did not disappoint. I had planned on getting a Reuben but waitress had recommended the sirloin, so decided to try it out. For a sirloin it was somewhat tender and the sauce was super flavorful. I also ordered the Brussel Sprouts and they were probably the best I've ever had. They had about 9 drafts (a little disappointed they did not have a wheat beer option, but it is February 17th, lol). The buffalo chicken wrap was really good, the perch wrap was good. Really disappointed they didn't have walleye in the menu. Being in a lake town i would have expected that.
Service was lacking. Our server was not very personable. Did not add to our experience at all.

We always stop at McCarthys for a Wild Colleen salad. However, this year food was great per usual but the service was not the same. The waitress was not as friendly and she left us waiting to ask for drinks. She also picked her own tip amount and said to my husband, “I just need you to sign here.” \nListen we tip well regardless of service BUT to have a waitress decide she deserved to pick her own tip amount. We were left floored.
