Mendoza's is hands down the BEST dining experience my husband I have EVER had! The mother-son staff is extremely kind and personable, they make you feel like family. The homemade, from scratch hand crafted food is one of a kind. I couldn't ask for a better experience or bite.

I stopped in this evening and had some of the BEST Enchiladas I’ve had in a very long time! The beans and rice were delicious as well which is hard to find. Some places have one that’s good and not the other, but not this place. If you’re in the area, give them a shot, I think you’ll enjoy it.

A Port Clinton staple and always reliably comforting. The owner and her son are always friendly and welcoming and the food, which is classic roadside Tex-Mex, has been delivered consistently for decades.
