Mon Ami Restaurant and Historic Winery

It is NO LONGER Mon Ami, the owners sold, and the new winery/restaurant is now a hipster joint and not the romantic place it used to be! I took my wife there for my birthday, expecting romance to be in the air... but there was no chance for anything to happen!!! They didn't even have the cut on half wine barrels for seats anymore. Excellent place with ONE Caveat....they have a horrible reservation system on line or with the app and you cannot call and get a reservation! They really need to upgrade this and go with another one such as Open Table. Four of us went and had a nice table in the Chalet area. It was very crowded, but our waitress "Marty" was very attentive without being pushy. We never felt rushed even with the room and bar filled. We had the special of Sea Bass and it was EXCELLENT! My husband and I make a point to come here just about every week. The food is excellent and there are enough options to satisfy anyone. They have an excellent selection of wine both local and from other areas. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable and you can tell that they enjoy their work.
